Situated next to the beach, it offers an ideal location for sunbathers and water enthusiasts alike. What truly sets the Hale Koa apart is its unparalleled service. “I like getting gas there. Now that it just reopened a few days ago. Not so crowed as the main gas lanes.Right now the Mart is in renovations and implementing new shelving. Half of the store is blocked out. Great location within the residential area to pickup some snacks and drinks. Must have a military ID to purchase.”

“The best ABC Store in Waikiki because it has a service counter in the back that serves hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, they have a great selection of prepackaged sandwiches and microwaveable meals, not to mention fresh cut fruit!!If your hotel supplies a common microwave for guests to use, then you’re in luck. Warm up the food you got from the ABC Store. Save money and at the end of your stay, add up all your receipts to collect free stuff. I gots me a Hawaiian coffee mug, T-Shirt & Tote BagAloha ?”

“I remember making my way up to this location for my first time about a year ago to pay my bill. Their office is located on the 17th floor. The waiting room is such a nice and cozy little area, it's decorated with a few old fashioned style gas pumps. I got helped pretty quickly, i forgot her name but she was nice, professional and really helpful in assisting me with all my questions. Tip: If you work or live in the downtown area, save a stamp and drop off your payments here. You'll like how they decorated their waiting area”

“This is a good place to fill up. Area has a coffee truck in the morning until about 1pm. There is also a Dominoes, Subway, convenience store. Lately, the machines haven't had receipt tape, so you have to go inside.Prices on chips are pretty high in comparison to commissary.”

If you forget something on your trip this place becomes your saving grace! The staff is friendly and helpful. Upon my first purchase my kids picked up mac and cheese and the lady who was checking IDs by the self check out line handed us spoons without being asked! I wouldn't have even thought of asking. We've stopped here for morning coffee, afternoon snacks, even hotdogs and fruits! I've also seen patrons purchase additional luggage from here!Thank you for having a PX on site! We appreciate you!”

“Nice clean store and large enough to have most things you need. The prices are in the convince store range but the staff is friendly. “We've come here literally every day since we began our vacation. These stores are located everywhere on the island! They are convenient and offer a variety of everything from hot food, drinks, souvenirs, personal care, wine/beer to household and travel items. The staff is always extremely friendly and always looks out to provide a great experience. I had a few to many things in my hands today and a staff member brought me a basket. Depending on the location, the store can vary with size and offerings. Save your receipts because you can go back at the end of your visit for free gifts.”

“Pretty good price for gas if you have a Hele card (maybe you can get one inside?). A good selection of gas store food. There is a coin vac ($1.50 in quarters) but it was really weak. Also there wasn't much water in the windshield squeegee bins. Maybe this is an end of shift thing? The cashier was nice and gave me gas change in quarters so I could try the vac.”

“I've gone to Yajima for a car wash for many years. They always do a great job. Last week I got a slow leak on a tire from running over a nail apparently. They took care of the issue right away. I will keep going back to Yajima - it's always great service.”

“This gas station is in the heart of Kalihi near a lot of other restaurants and stores. You hardly come across gas stations that have working air stations and this one always has theirs working. It cost $0.75 to get air started. And their pump stations come with contactless payment options.”

“The go-to spot for kegs! Aunty there was cooperative and knew what she was doing. We ordered one Corona Premier keg for my son's birthday party. They got all the local favorites: Heineken, Corona, Budweiser etc. If they don't have the brands that you're looking for - brands that aren't locally popular here like Guinness or Blue Moon - they can easily special order it for you if you're in a last minute bind trying to supply the keg for the party. Other then that, they can get you any keg you need. They have 2 sizes available, prices vary depending on beer. 1/2 bbl for $140-$160 and 1/6 bbl for $60-$80. both require a $100 dollar deposit for the actual keg container. I was a bit confused at first but for those who are new to this (like me), the prices for the kegs apply to the actual volume of liquor you're purchasing, and the $100 deposit is for the metallic keg container holding your purchased volume of liquor. When ready for pick up, aunty will provide you with a trash can to put the keg in and fill it with ice, ice to fill the trash can, and a pump for you to get beer out the keg. And after you can return the keg, pump, and trash can to get a refund on your $100 deposit. Will definitely be coming back, my plug for kegs”

“If you work in downtown, this is a quick and convenient place to pick upsome Korean bentos or poke bowls. Just a tiny little market that serves take out. The poke bowls are pretty reasonably priced for how much you get, compared to other places on downtown. And the taste and spice of the spicy ahi is just right. They have a large selection of korean-type food choices available in take-out bentos. I've only had the mandoo so far (to eat with my poke), but I'm looking forward to trying the other items, like the kimbap! I have to try all the kimbap. Haha.”

“They have a great selection of tourist knick knacks, souvineirs, Hawaiian clothes, hats, towels, beach wear and gifts including locally made chocolates, macadamia nuts and many other varieties of snacks and everyday essentials you may need for your vacation. I like their selection, and their prices aren't bad considering you're in Hawaii??This place is super organized and easy to shop. Enjoy! Aloha ????”

“Kamamalu Market, just a stroll away from my place, is a gem for snack lovers. Their lemon peel gushers and li hing gummy bears are downright addictive. Their spam musubi is crispy and always hits the spot. Plus, they've got a solid selection of alcohol. Prices are reasonable, and the convenience is unbeatable. Whenever I'm in for a cozy night in with snacks and alcohol, Kamamalu Market is my go-to spot.”

“Who would have thought a liquor store would have decent Vietnamese food at reasonable prices? I was here for 30 minutes and only saw people getting food. Maybe they should change the name of their shop. This place is in the Pacific Grand condo. Entry is through the lobby or through a back door. Menu on the lobby door is out of date. Prices are $2-$3 higher now. Don't let that deter you. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. They will even let you order stuff not on the menu. I ordered the spicy lemongrass chicken but on rice noodle (bun) instead of rice. It came with a small basic salad. For $13 I thought it was a fair price. Not huge, but filling enough. They have 4 tables in the store for dine in which is convenient. And hey, if you need a liter of Vodka, or a 40 to go, they have that also. Brown bags optional.”

“One of the places that hasn’t changed on Ford Island in 30 years except to add a very small barbershop and Subway. Parking can be a challenge. Five minute walk from the Aviation museum Mai it’s a good place to pick up drinks and snacks. Awesome support place when touring Buford Idland!”

“This place has recently been under new ownership in the past couple months! Their food offering has been completely revamped. I tried their butter Mochi and chocolate Mochi and I was over the moon!!! It was so yummy, a must try for sure. The new owner, Rj creates really yummy specials. I've tried both the yellow and red curry and both are really good. I always grab 6 or so musubis, a couple breakfast bentos and some of their yummy caramel rice krispies to take to the beach for my family. All in all, I love the rotating food selection here. I'm always impressed when I try something new at Iolani.”
