1872 Wili Pa Loop, WailukuThere are many things I envy about my dogs life. He doesn’t have to work. He’s cuter, faster and a better swimmer than me. He can eat literal garbage and it never seems to upset his stomach. But I envy nothing more than the healthcare he has access to on this island, particularly with Dr. Kot. I wish I had a doctor who cared about me as much as Dr. Kot cares about the animals he treats. He and his staff always go above and beyond to make sure your animal is taken care of. They will squeeze you in if you need them to, even when there’s no room to squeeze. Dr. Kot will provide top notch care and still take the time to answer all your questions with patience, kindness and make sure to explain everything in a way that you’ll understand. He even called me once at 8 o clock at night, after what I’m sure was a long day of surgery for him, because I needed something for my pet insurance and he wanted to make sure I got it. Do you know how many times you have to call a human’s doctor’s office to get anything submitted to your insurance? It’s a lot. These guys have already been paid, and it doesn’t really affect them if I get reimbursed or not, and he still took the extra time to make sure everything was good for me. So, yeah, my dog is lucky to be a dog for a lot of reasons, but none more so than the fact he gets to go to Dr. Kot.

40 Paa St, WailukuI have been taking my dog to MLVH for over a year (since I first got her). MLVH staff is so nice and careful. My dog loves them!! Yesterday my dog had some unusual lab results. Although they closed at 4pm, Dr. Weeks called me at 7 pm to give an update. I am very thankful the Doc was willing to take her own time and inform me about my dog!!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO MLVH!!

In fact, I’m a bit worried that they look forward to when I’m away and she visits. :-) She is so attentive, taking loving care of them (and our home) during overnight visits. She follows instructions to the letter and even provides post-visit recaps with pictures. We are relieved when she’s available - she’s the best!

Truly the best of the best offered here on Maui! Cutting Edge is known for being the best in the business here. We appreciated that we had a personal call with the chef to answer some of our questions before even in contract to help solidify our menu choices. Jessica was prompt to respond to our inquiry and multiple additional questions that followed. On the day of the event, Cutting Edge Catering went above and beyond our already high expectations. From the venison skewers, ceviche and tacos for apps, to the chef's serving of macadamia nut crusted mahi and braised brisket, every item was delectable and visually pleasing. The staff were attentive and kind throughout the entirety of our elopement while staying on time with our timeline for each course. Even our venue owner complimented the kitchen cleanliness following their departure. Our guests continue to rave of our wedding meal months after the event stating it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Mahalo for a great dining experience! 5 stars all the way!!!

Best brisket on the island, amazing pork belly burnt ends (IYKYK), ribs, pulled pork, and chicken, available by the pound (or 1/2), in tacos or sandwiches, or in a meal plate with some of their tasty sides...friendly service too, and generally not a long wait :) My only suggestion is an option for regular or spicy barbecue sauce: I like spicy, which for me complements the richness of the meat more satisfyingly than a purely sweeter sauce. Next time you're in town craving BBQ, check them out!

The food wasn't bad, and the service was very friendly. The atmosphere is pretty good too.
There is a parking space in the back, and I found out about it when I got to the restaurant, and since it was daytime, there was also a parking lot on the road 2 minutes away.
Parking: Located at the back of the building.
