The Pet Shop
230 Hana Hwy #13, KahuluiA small business that we are so happy is open on Sundays again. All the employees are friendly and supportive. Some of the fish are more expensive than we wish to pay but it's nice to dream. They do have a good rewards program to help off set costs

Pet Care
At Home Animal Hospital and Mobile Veterinary Services
48 Lono Ave, KahuluiI adore this vet office for so many reasons! All 3 of my kitties go there and I am so grateful! Professional, Kind, Understanding and empathatic all describe everyone that works there. I am a self proclaimed "crazy cat mom" and everyone there allways makes sure to let me know what is going on and treat our kitties with so much kindness. Our lil Milo Kitty who has Asthma, Dr. Fu Cat who is just a little accident prone, and our other kitty Ghostie who has urinary crystals. So we need a little more than your average cat well visits.Which is why I am so glad that At Home also directly bills my Trupanion pet insurance which has literlly saved us thousands of dollars and probably hours of hassle trying to get reimbursed for out of pocket costs. Their staff are the ones that told me about it! I am so grateful, my cats copays are better than mine. LOLOur kitties are healthy despite their challenges because of the excellent care they recieve at At Home Animal Hospital.Mahalo from our whole family.

Kraken Coffee
335 Alamaha St, KahuluiStumbled upon this place randomly when searching for coffee in an industrial area. Theirs is tasty and the staff are friendly. The soy latte was good and the (nonalcoholic) Irish cream breve was great if you prefer something creamy and sweet. There’s also local kombucha for the non-caffeine drinkers.

Keyakiya
Kahului Beach Rd, Kahuluibest casual meal on maui this year’s maui trip (i visit family every year). we got the keyakiya chicken — great texture (not dry), umami, sweet, and very lightly breaded (i don’t like thicc breading). i can’t wait until next year’s maui trip ?check their IG. sometimes they don’t come if the weather is bad. @keyakiyamauiParking: park along kahului beach for free

2 Cheesy Guys
520 Keolani Pl, KahuluiMy family tried this truck before our flight out of OGG. Everyone was blown away - the sandwiches were enormous and delicious, and packaged up beautifully. And the Frosty Pogg was wonderful. Fantastic work all around - really wishing that this truck weren't 3,000+ miles from home.

My Thai Maui
230 Hana Hwy, KahuluiThis is a unique place. But I will start by saying this had the best food I had in Maui by far. Food is just spot on great. The dining area is in a open garage area. You order online, there isn't a server or anything and then the food gets brought up to a window and your name gets called. So not exactly a sit down restaurant with waiters but it does have space to sit (or takeout). The food though. I had drunken noodles. So good. My wife had pad Thai and iced coffee and also loved it. Also appreciated was the ability to double noodles and get a fried egg for extra.Vegetarian options: It's Thai and the menu reflects the vegetarian options. Ton of tofu and veggies that you can pick, most items can be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Wife is gluten free, the menu is clearly labeled and let's you select gluten free. Tons of options.Parking: It's in a strip mall. Plenty of parking.

808 Plates Maui
214 Ho'okele St, KahuluiAfter a delayed connecting flight, we had no time to eat before getting on our next flight to Maui. We arrived at the Lowe's parking lot where this food truck was located. Took us some time to figure out where the food truck was parked considering how big this parking lot was.I got the ribeye steak and garlic shrimp, also comes with rice and a small salad. After surviving on pretzels, I ate the whole thing. It was delish. Great portion as well. Since there were no tables to sit at, we ate on the hood of our rental car.

Thai Mee Up
591 Haleakala Hwy, KahuluiHad the shrimp pad Thai - it was really good and spicy. Go for medium spice level.Vegetarian Tofu options are available for most dishes on request. It’s right opposite Costco, so a great place for after grocery meal or before heading to the airport.Parking: Free parking lot available, but gets crowded. Difficult to navigate and find parking

Cupies Cafe
134 W Kamehameha Ave, KahuluiThis place is such a treat to come to. They have a fantastic selection from food to drinks such as slushy's or smoothie type drinks with the normal flavors to the delicious other flavors. I got the breaded teriyaki with rice & mac salad & my bf got the chicken katsu with rice & mac salad. Hands down the BEST breaded teriyaki on the island!!! Then I got a large Mango smoothie & he got a large Honeydew smoothie. I will definitely go there again when I get the chance being that we were traveling from the West side Lahaina Town. If you get the chance to check this place out you should definitely try the wide selection of yummy foods & drinks that they offer here you will not be disappointed!!Parking: There were a # of available parking spots in their parking lot structure so don't worry about the parking.

Starbucks
270 Dairy Rd, KahuluiI always love coming here to get my souvenirs or gift cards when it comes to the holidays! The inside is very spacious and the signs are easy to read. If you need somewhere to do some productive work or a place to read this place offers that. Michelle is always rocking her fabulous hairstyles each time I visit this store and she knows how to lead with style.

Tight Tacos Maui
349 Hanakai St B, KahuluiTight Tacos are amazing! The staff is friendly, and their tacos are possibly the best I have ever had. We tried them all, and all are great! There was a place in San Felipe, MX that might have been better, but the owners retired years ago.Parking: Very small parking lot.Street parking available.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved it here! They loved the quesadillas, and the informal atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room and order window are very wheelchair accessible. The only non-accessible area is the salsa bar. That area is too narrow to navigate by wheelchair. The staff is friendly, and happy to get whatever you want from the salsa bar.
