“We've been having weekly visits to either this location or the town location since lockdown started. We both have random resin projects we work on and Fiberglass Hawaii has pretty much everything we need. The only complaint is that this location doesn't open until noon. So if we're in need of something over the weekend, we'll shoot to town first thing Monday mornings. Otherwise, this is the most convenient location for us. We call in orders beforehand and its normally ready within a day, sometimes same day. Just call when you arrive for curbside pickup. You can also pay over phone with your CC info for faster service.”

“Staff very helpful, both on phone and in store. The store stocks smaller diameter threaded, isobutane fuel canisters commonly used for backpacking stoves, they are difficult to find in Hawaii.”

“Rainbow State Paint is a long drive for us, but it is worth the trip because they have people like Dan there that know and have actually used their products. Dan spent a good bit of time with me on the phone to be sure we got the right product for our job. Try calling the Home Depot paint folks to see if one primer will sand better than another, or is actually in stock...We drive past 3 Sherwin Williams stores to get to RSP.Last visit, I learned that RSP keeps files on every order you've ever placed including an actual paint sample of what you bought. Dan pulled our file from 5 years ago just to be sure we got the same tint, then he tinted our primer to improve cover by the topcoat, showed us (all 4) color matches, and boxed up our order for the long drive back.Exceptional service. Also, BM "Advance" trim paint lays out as slick as anything I've ever seen.Aloha”

“I did an online order and was called 20 minutes later to confirm. Very nice touch, don't get that kind of service anymore. Unfortunately, I don't remember the young ladies name. I went to pick up my item the next , which was ready at the cashier. Cool, old-time style store, ended up picking up some other items.”

“Located in Pearl City, this store is like the others in setup. The parking is large enough to accommodate, but there maybe traffic getting in and out to the street due to the way the road is designed. Overall it is okay.”

“I called in and ISA was so efficient with my order of 60 feet copper coil piping. I needed to have the order picked up at Honolulu store but unfortunately I called the Waipahu store. Isa didn't get upset. He just gave me instructions on how to get my order filled accurately with kindness and patience Great service ISA!!!”

“I had to wait in line for parts since the store was closed because of COVID, but I didn't have to wait too long and the staff was courteous. They were organized, too, considering the unusual circumstances. Plus, they had the valve I needed and couldn't find it anywhere else on the island, so I was happy. Three other sprinkler supply stores near downtown have been closed, so I'm glad to know Pacific Pipe has what I need.”

“On 11/24/2023, I saw a Christmas inflatable that I really wanted to buy. I asked salesman Mike if he could see if one was available for purchase. He checked all the aisle but the inflatable on display was the last one. Seeing how much I wanted the inflatable he went to check with his supervisor if I could purchase the Santa on a sailboat inflatable that was on display. I not only got to purchase the inflatable that I wanted, he gave me $20 off because it was the display. Thank you Mike for the AWESOME customer service...I appreciate you!!!”

“Large selection of household items. Newly opened large gardening department on the Diamond head end of the store. I came to look for an lawnmower or mower parts. Unfortunately they only stock 1 replacement blade and a spark plug tool.”

“This is my favorite place to buy plants, mostly starter herbs, as they rotate fast here. I love the location and its accessibility AND that you don't have to go into the actual store for anything (unless you want to) as all your gardening supplies are in one place. The plants are separated by how you're supposed to plant them and where according to sun exposure, more, less, shade, no shade, etc. Big plants, small plants, big pots, small pots, half wine barrels, wheel barrows, shovels, hoes, trowels, pavers, it's just a gardener's delight here. There's also a great selection of soil to replant from regular potting mix to orchid mix and all the fertilizer you'll need for the season. All the plants are healthy, I've never had to return anything or been disappointed with the advice I've been given. You can literally park within twenty feet of the entrance/exit and the usually have the boxes to carry away all your little baby plants in. Pets are welcome, another reason I like to frequent this store.”

“Been coming to the Waikele Lowe's for years and due to a kitchen and bath remodel I've been going to the home improvement stores frequently I had to post that this store's Customer service has improved dramatically. Last week I was looking for flooring and an associate walked up to me before I even need help. My husband even mentioned that it was rare not to have to look around for help as we have to at the competition. Later another associate helped me to check inventory and as I was looking for the samples to bring home he even marked out a plank as a sample for me to bring home. Last week we also went in for a microwave. Went to 3 places and this store was the only one that had it in stock. It was $10 more than the lowest prices store who told me it was back ordered but $30 less than the other big box competitor. I'm so happy to see a store that can manage to attract and train good employees!”
