“I took my nother in law here and she made a deposit. She banks here. I do not. The lady at the front helped out my mother in law extremely. She made the extra effort of making copies for her. I went inside to show various identification and she made two copies. Now that's customer service. I didn't catch her name but she was truly nice and helpful. The inside of the bank is nice and was playing some relaxing music as there was a long line when I walked in. I think there were 4 tellers working. Plenty of parking up front and to the side. My mother in law always has a good experience here.”

“Been banking here for as long as I can remember. Lots of different faces through the years, but everyone was helpful and polite. I’ve been helped by head teller Jennifer the most. She even took care of situations for me on the phone during Covid time when I was hesitant to go in. Jennifer always explains things well and doesn’t rush me out. She patiently helped me with my uChoose Rewards program today, among other things and even made sure I was able to login before I left. I’m fortunate to receive her services!Maria and Anisha are two other people who have been at this location for years too. The three of them have been a great part of Territorial Savings Bank. I hope to continue seeing them around for years to come.”

“I visited many Territorial branches and Waipio branch is place to go when you need best and fast service. Sometimes I go out of my way to deposit since I have multiple checks to process. Branch manager Ing is the quickest of all. She doesn't waste any time and easy to work with. I wish all the tellers train by her so all the branches service is the same. Wish there is a way to give more than 5 star.”

“The Hawaii State Federal Credit Union is located by Central Pacific Bank, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Ichiriki - across from the Pearlridge Uptown area. There are many parking stalls on the first and second floors of the strip mall. The staff here are helpful. There are sometimes lines of State workers but the tellers are efficient and the line moves quickly. I have an account here and although I work at a different company - not for the state, I can still keep my account.”

“I came here because according to their website today they are selling yen at 140.5 yen - $1. I went to the window and spoke with Abcide. She answered all my questions and was so nice and patient. She informed me that I have to open an account to get the yen at that price and I have to pay for them yen in cash. Okay, no problem. Went to my CU get the cash and back to CPB to open my account. Helen helped me as soon as I walked in. We opened my account, ordered my yen and she even had me download the CPB app to make sure I was able to set up and log in. Everyone here is so nice and pleasant.. it really makes me want to do more banking here. I also told Helen... every time I say or think Central Pacific Bank I hear their jingle in my head! Talk about good and effective advertising!! :)”

“Well deserved 5 star rating. P.H.F.C.U Makaha branch is the perfect example of NEVER judge a book my its cover. I have passed by P.H.F.C.U Makaha branch on many occasions thinking that somehow the small branch tucked away off of the Farrington Hiway in Waianae was somehow inadequate based solely upon it's street view appearance. Boy was I wrong. It was an impulsive stop, because I saw cars parked in front on a Saturday. I walked in an was greeted with instant Aloha. I entered seeking only information and walked out as a NEW member. I was locked out of my C.U account at Travis C.U in Cali & was very disappointed in their customer service. Peal Hawaii transfered ALL the cash from my Travis accounts into a NEW savings and checking account. I was so impressed that I had to re-edit this review to explain why I gave Pearl Hawaii Credit Union my very first 5 star rating EVER as a Google Guide. They may be a smaller Credit Union but they are beyound they BEST.”

What I like best about this branch is while standing in line, on the big screen tv, they have a show called Bites on a Budget. The recipes are easy and the food looks good! “Family has business with them. Friends worked for them. There ATM was easy to use for what I needed it for, checking balance and withdrawal. The only thing is,, unless I missed it, is the money denominator, it only dispense $20, no option to request larger bills, like $50 or $100, carrying a wad of money on a large withdrawal is unsettling for female, older and are not able to have someone accompany you for safety reasons. I know there are other options, but sometimes you don't have a choice...sharing.”

There is no standing around waiting for bank teller lady they on the ball, usually the only waiting I ever had to do was when it gets busy usually Fridays, usually I'm back out to my car in 5 maybe 10 mins.”

“This bank the only location available for the Waianae community but this is my favorite location when I do all my business transactions. Conveniently located on Farrington hwy Waianae Shopping center. Same parking structure as Cvs Longs. This location is always friendly and we never have problems with this bank and we have over 10 business accounts here. Deposits ans transactions are always an ease. My only issue is their bank hours (which is also mentioned in other reviews). Open M-F from 8am-4pm but fridays they close at 5pm. It's tough to get there before 4 and sadly they are not open on Saturday's so I have to drive out of Waianae to the Kapolei branch I always have issues there. Just wish they went back to their pre-covid business hours.”

“I came in to withdraw a considerable amount to donate to Nalaniikaleomana Foundation who has helped homeless teens and adult from Waianae to Honolulu. They partnered with a few nonprofits to support and provide food, necessities, and one forgotten shelter. However part of my withdrawal was for self purchase and rewarding myself. But one of the managers called me to her desk and nice because I can take the load off my feet...lucky me?! She was so personable and patient with my requests as well as questions. This was so awesome! It's such a pleasantly decorated place with a turquoise color palette...somewhat calming. People are really friendly here. This credit union has hand sanitizers all over the place. Of course everyone, employees and customers must wear masks. I love Hickam Credit Union and my biggest account located. In fact, my mom opened my account about 40 years ago. At one point, I forgot about it before checking whether it still existed. But I kept track and utilize it more now!!! Ciao”
