I rent often from Hertz but continue to be frustrated with the Kona location. The cars are not cleaned- I have found water bottles and other personal items left in the car. The last few times the hotel tag from previous rental were left on keys. Windshields are filthy- if they are wiped they must use dirty towels.

The SUV rear hatch only opens about halfway and as a consequence one needs to bend over to load and unload items and I bumped my head several times. Serious deficiency with this blue Ford Escape

Very friendly staff that were efficient and provided directions. There is a shuttle that runs to the airport frequently. Would recommend.
