“I dropped in for a class while visiting Kona. It is a great place to workout! The owner, Coach Kirk, was responsive to my emails. It was easy to connect and get merch. The workout started with a great warmup consisting of some tie on the bike, active stretching and passive stretching. Needless to say, I was warm especially in the Hawaii humidity, but the large fans were a great help! The workout itself started with a lifting portion, strict presses over a period of time. Coach Kirk was great, very attentive and gave great feedback. The cardio portion was very challenging, two rounds for time but a triplet that really tested my mental capacity.Overall a great experience, the members were very welcoming and friendly, it felt like I was back home in my own box. They even gave great recommendations for dinner! Lots of equipment, really well organized and quality instruction.Overall I would recommend this to anyone fully into or even curious about CrossFit. If I lived in Kona, I would seriously consider this gym!”

I went to this studio while being pregnant and it was perfect and now I’m going postpartum and the 8:30 spin classes and the 9:45 barre/ tone classes feel so good. So grateful to have Found spinluvplay and I love the 100 dollar monthly pass to go to however many classes you can make.. it’s such a good deal.”
“Very friendly group. 9 courts with temporary nets on older basketball courts. 2-3 challenge courts that played at around 3.0-3.5 level when I was there, rest are social courts. Playing Pickleball in Hawaii is always such a great experience.”
“Love this gym.....feels like family. Nice equipment and friendly staff ☺️Just wish the management had more aloha to active and fit members in the community, bummer that they raised their monthly fees for these members.”
“I've been a member now for a year, and there are a lot of good things about this gym and a couple close deal breakers. Pros: Its almost never super busy, and it has a pool (although great to swim the water does seem a little murky most of the time which makes me wonder how often they clean it) - those are the main pros. Its also very friendly - lots of friendly staff that know your name and greet you and friendly gym goers. I also think the trainer I had, Roxy, was a pro. They have a snazzy work out room with a fancy video setup, and the spin class area looks modern as well. The Cons/downsides, mainly the sauna. Folks, it's impressive around here to find a gym with both a pool and sauna and you think you've scored! However the dry sauna is outdated, doesn't get that hot around 120-140 degrees fahrenheit (should be around 160-170 degrees), and the wet sauna is still broken I think. The dry sauna is small, and the wood is nasty and smelly from all the sweaty people over the years, it is very drafty as it doesn't provide a good seal around the door, and it also closes early everyday at 7pm, so its not the luxurious after workout experience you think it will be. Soooo many complaints have been made about the sauna, but their star feature has been given little upgrade attention. Members found little ways to trick the system to make it hotter, but then signs went up threatening automatic membership revoking if anyone is caught doing that. The low heat sauna is tragedy really, because it would be a really low bar for a competitor to offer something slightly better for a similar price point and have members jump ship.Update: they have since put in magnets to hold the sauna door closed so there is less draft and it does get hotter. I wish it didn't take them a year to do this. Getting fixes or equipment replacements seems to take a lot longer than they ever should.Pricing: it's pricey considering fixes and improvements take forever and will cost you to use a lot of energy to keep asking for them. The black Friday deal seems to be the best price to join if you pay for the full year it took my monthly to $50/mo. Normally they charge about $100/no in any normal non deal sign up.”

“I’ve been a member for a couple years now, besides being the cheapest gym in town, I like planet fitness because I can get in do my routine and get out, the gym layout is well organized and the machines are well maintained.”
“My toddler and I both love this place. Very safe, fun environment. I read some negative reviews here and honestly very surprised. I only had positive interactions with the coaches and the owner, she seems as a very sweet lady and loves kids. My 3 year old (almost 4 now) have been coming here for a year and he talks about it all week. The place is very big, I imagine children need to follow rules as safety is number one in gymnastics. Next month my son will begin to come here on his own and if he tries to do something unsafe, I hope he gets told firmly right away that he needs to follow instructions and be safe. I highly recommend this place for any toddler to help with motor skills development. You don't have to plan for your child to become gymnast to do gymnastics for general development as a toddler. 10+ looking forward to this Saturday's class (:”
“Highly recommend joining burn! Super fun environment, full body workouts and most importantly no judgment! I never would have thought I would have been comfortable going to a gym but Agnes makes it so inviting, easy for all levels and you can go at your own pace which I love bc we all have good and bad days. Best thing I’ve ever done for my physical and mental health!”
