I dropped in for a class while visiting Kona. It is a great place to workout! The owner, Coach Kirk, was responsive to my emails. It was easy to connect and get merch. The workout started with a great warmup consisting of some tie on the bike, active stretching and passive stretching. Needless to say, I was warm especially in the Hawaii humidity, but the large fans were a great help! The workout itself started with a lifting portion, strict presses over a period of time. Coach Kirk was great, very attentive and gave great feedback. The cardio portion was very challenging, two rounds for time but a triplet that really tested my mental capacity.Overall a great experience, the members were very welcoming and friendly, it felt like I was back home in my own box. They even gave great recommendations for dinner! Lots of equipment, really well organized and quality instruction.Overall I would recommend this to anyone fully into or even curious about CrossFit. If I lived in Kona, I would seriously consider this gym!

What a great community based gym! We showed up on a Saturday and there were kids there with their parents and everyone was in a good mode. A little disorganized but you just need to ask people and they get the job done. Felt very welcomed as a visitor. They even let us borrow socks when we did rope climbing. Partner workout was fun and I met some great people.

Starting CrossFit has been a very positive and healthy experience. I’m down to 218 pounds (33 pounds lost). In better shape at 56 than I ever thought possible.

Amazing place! Dropped in on the 5:30 and loved it. Staff is there to get you moving. Don't go if you don't want to sweat. Mbers are friendly. Facility is well equipped, clean and organized. If you are looking for a box I highly recommend this one.

What an incredible Box. People here are very welcoming. The wife and I stopped in during our day on the island and we are definitely glad we chose Crossfit Kona for our morning workout. We felt at home. Our Conversations with everyone was like we had been going to the box for years. All the way from Kansas.

Nice gym with friendly coaching staff. Equipment was well maintained and newer. Lack of space is the only downfall of the gym-but, it's an island with limited space so, they seem to make the most of what space is available. Definitely worth dropping in if you're in town. ?

Great place to get a work out in. Only a half hour and boy do you feel it. I'm usually drenched in sweat after I'm done here.

Just wanted to post to say thanks for letting me drop-in! Awesomely welcoming box, good space, and super kind members and coaches. Classic old school crossfit! A tip for those dropping in. It is a little hard to find in the industrial park behind Starbucks on Queen K, but definitely worth the effort to find it!
