“The Branch Manager, Sean, is Awesome! I remember when he started at the Manoa branch. He is so helpful and friendly! He has such a positive attitude & so professional that i can see how he got promoted to branch manager! So deserving! I wish he was still at the Aina Haina branch so i could see him more often. He helped me when my daughter was going to study abroad in London and needed a bank statement showing her balance. She was leaving before i would get her statement in the mail & no one at the Aina Haina branch could help me. But i happened to be at Safeway & stopped in & to my delight Sean was there to helo me! “Great business bank. I have had my software company with them for over 3 years now and the service is excellent. Jenny is extremely responsive and has helped ensure my business is optimally set up with both a business checking and money market account. Their online banking systems are great, allowing me to easily transfer funds between accounts and automate payroll and bill pay. They just released a new mobile app which has all the accoutrements of a big national bank such as mobile deposit upload, ACH pay and account transfers. I love having all the tech I was used to at my old big bank but with the excellent secure of a community business bank. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid business bank that treats you as a partner rather than a commodity. Thanks first foundation.”
“Hawaii National Bank's main Chinatown headquarters prepares for the the Chinese New Year in grand, colorful, spirit-filled style. In my opinion, it is worth driving down to Chinatown (especially after dark at night) just for this spectacular artistic masterpiece. The statue of Buddha sits in a meditative state in a front and central centerpiece. And, of course several dragons guard Buddha and the colorful, joyful lanterns. I highly recommend a special early evening visit after dark for the sharp, colorful display. It is truly awe inspiring. Come visit. You won't be disappointed.For your greatest visual impact, please park your vehicle and walk to the location of this window display. I believe, this colorful masterpiece, will blow you away. Linger for awhile. Allow the details before you, fully overpower and overwhelm your sense of sight.”

“Simple and easy. Electronic screen tellers.Need to fill out your transaction slips prior to getting into line. Once in line there are tellers on both right and left sides to eaiy for the next available. Quick and easy. Logan assisted me today, greeted upon sending the tube and thanked me for waiting and acknowledged hed be right with me. He was quick with the transaction and very friendly! Parking is parse. 6 stalls, 1 handicap. As long as everyone parks good, there should be no problem getting into a stall.”

I now have a safety deposit box a savings account and a checking account every time I go in the bank I am treated like family I have seen first-hand them treat everyone with so much respect. regardless of how much money they have in their account everyone gets treated with the same amount of respect. definitely my type of place today Dustin was able to connect with us we were able to chat just a little bit about a good certificate of deposit (CD). I just sold my home on the mainland I would definitely not want my friends and family going with another bank based on what I have witnessed with my own eyes.”
“Charles Schwab has been my stock brokerage since... basically this year. Started with Scottrade which was acquired by TD Ameritrade, which was recently acquired by Charles Schwab.With almost everything being done online or over the phone, there's not a whole lot of need to go to the office. Though there are times when having face to face interactions and direct communication is much more better.This new Charles Schwab office is located along Bishop Street, right before Queen Street at the street level of the Davies Pacific Center. This building has a parking garage, but not sure if there's validation. If not, there's metered parking around. The newly constructed office is super clean, bright, and welcoming, of course.I had an issue that just needed better clarification because communicating through emails and phone calls (which you need to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT) was just not getting anything done. The time zone was an issue, and some people just don't have phone voices (and Aloha spirit).Luckily the team at Charles Schwab were very helpful and patient. The receptionist was exceptional. Friendly, kind, patient, and very helpful in getting the assistance I needed. Their team helped me double check everything to make sure all documents were filled correct and all supporting documents were included.Needlessly to say, everything went smoothly. I'm glad this office is here with an amazing team to guide and assist me in making sure the process is done right the first time.”

“Financial transactions in Honolulu, Hawaii...My cousin needed a new debit card from American Savings Bank (ASB). I knew about this location because I kept looking at it from across the street last year when our Jaycee group participated in the Dragon Boat Races at Aala Park. Besides being one of the sponsors, ASB also had a very spirited team! I told my cousin that we should go to this Aala Park "Campus" location because it had free covered parking and is a new building! Yes... the interior is very pleasant and clean. There was an employee in the parking structure - acting like a guard and/or guide. Inside, another employee asked if we needed help - I think he was screening us for possible loitering because we were chatting on one of the sofas.Well - it was a successful visit. My cousin was able to finish his transactions successfully. If he needs to return, I would choose this Campus Branch again.”
“I had an excellent bank experience at Hawaii Central today. I needed to make a bank transfer and needed help. The young lady at the counter was very helpful and went out of her way to help me by referring me to another young lady by the name of Mila. Mila came out with her laptop and assisted me step by step on how to make the transfer. Very pleasant attitude. I appreciate the great service. I have been a member since 2015.”

“This branch was formally in the Kaimuki neighborhood on the corner of Waialae Avenue and Wilhemina Rise road. They have now moved to the Kahala office building which is at Kahala mall. The branch is on the ground floor and easily assessible from the parking lot behind CVS Longs. There is usually no lines or wait to get service at this location. Albert who is one of the bankers there provides customers with prompt efficient service.”
“I'm a long-time member of this credit union, from its former name of Hawaiian Tel Employees FCU. Over the years, many smaller credit unions merged into it so it was renamed to reflect its diverse customer base. It's now known as HiFi for short.This is the main branch off of North King Street in Kalihi, which is open on weekdays only. As such, I don't often visit this location, unless I happen to be in the area or must complete a transaction in person. There's free covered parking which makes it convenient.HiFi offers a wide variety of services including credit and debit cards, free signature guarantee, home banking, loans, and home mortgage and equity loans. Darren Kimura is very helpful and knowledgeable.”
