Service was exceptional. We were seated right away. Our server Matt made our experience & was great at giving suggestions on the menu . The food was excellent! If your looking for a dining place with great food & service & want to skip all the tourist lines in Waikiki.. Basalt is the place!

Their charcoal pancakes are to die for, and the gauva syrup on top is fire ? Generous serving size, typical Hawaii pricing. Every time I am in Hawaii (this is about my 20th trip in 7 years) this place is a must do, highly recommend.
