“Ron & the Southern Motor Works team are dynamic at what they do! I was told by the dealership (who shall remain anonymous) that I needed a new engine because it locked up. I was not willing to accept that. A friend of mine referred me to Southern Motor Works and I had my vehicle towed tot heir shop. 5 hours of inspecting my vehicle and Ton called and informed me that my engine was fine, I needed a new compressor. Instead of $7K the dealership tried to charge me, the issue was only $3K. Southern Motor Works was literally a lifesaver. No need to second guess, get to Southern Motor Works if you care about your vehicle.”

Tyler and the folks at this Mavis always help me out with their free air machine and/or by putting the air in and checking the pressure for me. Place is absolutely clean and they had a good variety of options for tires. The staff took the time to explain the state of my tires and took care of replacing new tires in less than 30 mins.They serve and carry EV tires which was a great advantage. They can provide other minor service options as well like wiper blades but the staff basically is the best ?Free WiFi while you wait and you can actually sit and see your car being worked on”

“So... our church in Buford received an "anonymous donation" of (6) 255/70R22.5 bald truck tires - deposited in our detention pond (see photo) about a week ago :-( . We were trying to do the right thing with them and not make them someone else's problem. So, we checked with Centers for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) Athens, SA Recycling Lawrenceville, etc. - none of whom would accept tires for recycling. Turns out, the right thing to do was to check with Discount Tire - they accepted the tires! BIG shout out to Discount Tire!!! Thanks again...”
