“I typically go to a hole in the wall used tire place but they didn’t have my tire size. So glad they didn’t because I came here instead and received great service! Kevin who checked me in was very friendly and gave great customer service and the man who changed my tire (he seemed to have a Caribbean accent) was also very kind and patient as I cleaned out my trunk so the spare could be put back. This shop had great customer service and communication and even though there was a long wait, I was told this upfront and it made sense as it was a Saturday afternoon. I was out in the timeframe I was told and this was greatly appreciated! I will definitely come here for future needs.”

“I moved to Atlanta a couple of months ago and was nervous to look for a mechanic when my front tires started making a high-pitched metallic grinding noise. I googled "mom and pop mechanics Atlanta" and D.O.G. Automotive was towards the top of the list that appeared and they had great reviews. I called, left a voicemail, and they returned my call within an hour or so. Due to the issue (needed new brake pads) Blandon offered to squeeze me into the busy schedule. When I arrived he explained everything to me from the process of what he would be doing, to the pricing; the turnaround time was quick, to boot. “I drive past this place at least four times a week. It's a tire shop that seems to cater to heavy trucks like semi's, semi trailers, dump trucks, concrete trucks, and such.It's kinda limited in ability to get a lot of business because the section lot it's on is small and oddly laid out. It resembles and gas/service station that dates from the late 40's or 50's in general style. But has changed hands a few times. Lost its storage tanks probably to corrosion in the 80's. But couldn't get permits for new tanks because of setback rules in local ordinances. So now it services truck tires.It's not a bad place overall, just the roads around it have really let it down.”

“John and his team were so helpful and went above and beyond a routine maintenance appointment for my Volvo. I was able to get an appointment online fairly quickly (like 2 days out), and I also requested quotes on a few things that needed to be repaired.For the minor things that were semi-quick fixes, they kindly fixed them at no charge. John said he didn’t want to charge for the easy-to-fix things (cosmetic things that just needed to be carefully popped back in). He quoted the things that required ordering parts, and recommended going to a Volvo dealership for the bigger electrical issues that were Volvo specific.I highly recommend this very honest and nice team of mechanics at MMR Automotive.”

It turned out to be a seized calliper just like my husband thought. Tom ordered them right away after talking to my husband on the phone before it was even towed over. He recommended a good and safe hotel, and got us back on the road the next day. He turned what could have been a nightmare into a okay situation.
