It shot my anxiety thru the roof because I was afraid of hurting him, although I know I hadn't touched yet. So you can imagine the matte and kinks in his fur. It was beyond time. JD came in and EFFORTLESSLY executed Kobe's cut! Very professional and was not intimidated by Kobe one bit, I mean completely handled him! Of course, I'm still getting anxiety on the sideline from the yelps. (I think we drew a mutual conclusion that my anxiety overpowered the grooming attempt each time ?) He had Kobe fully groomed in less than 30 mins, I couldn't believe it. Here I was thinking that he'd have to be sedated but I hated the idea. Nevertheless, I've found my go to groomer for life. I would recommend him to any dog owner. He is definitely the BEST at what he does! Keep saving the day for people like me JD!!!

She is very thorough, her documentation is meticulous, and if she doesn’t know the answer she has many resources to get the right information. (We have had some very complicated issues.) Dr Rox makes safe and evidenced based recommendations. In 10 years there have been communication mistakes regarding appointment times/dates, prescription refills, etc but it’s only occasionally and at the end of the day we know that Dr Rox and the staff at Arkle really care about our babies. Any miscommunication was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Dr Rox has spent hours with us over the years making sure that we know how to take care of the pups. When we worked with a rescue and had to take our foster to another vet for price/discounts, we could definitely tell other vets don’t take the time like Dr Rox does.

After going to several vets across Georgia in this two years, FINALLY!! My neighbor referred me (and after I gave up) to her long-time vet, Dr. Williams. They board too! Highly recommend Animal Care Center!!

The vet that we saw was someone filling in for the normal vets. Dr Navarro was very good and explained everything very well. She was able to provide me with a recommendation for the surgery that Snitch needs. The vet she recommended was very thorough and reasonably priced. Overall I was very happy with the visit, as always.

I had been going to a reputable veterinarian hospital, since I moved to GA. They were great, but always busy. I took the earliest appt, which was 5 days later. I was in a pet bakery and was given Dr. Mclean's information. I called was seen the next day and was there for the next 45 days! Vetcare of Belmont became my family. They took care of my Savannah until her last days. Dr. McLean and his entire staff are AMAZING. They love their patients, they are reasonable and they have an on call system. I know because I used and Dr MClean personally called me back at 245am. And i took Savannah to them the next morning. I will be forever grateful for Dr MClean and Vetcare of Belmont!!

Best Little Dog House in Georgia
1225 Winchester Pkwy SE, SmyrnaI want to first thank all of the staff at BLDH for taking care of my senior (almost 14 y.o.) dog Shiloh. Despite her being fairly thirsty for a day or so and sleeping pretty hard for 2 days, I’m giving 5 stars. I travel a lot (domestic & international) and for Shiloh’s first stay, I was pretty nervous so I had a friend check in on her daily. To return and know that she was doing well daily, that she was a sweetheart of a dog per the staff and no problem at all was so refreshing. One of the best parts is that when I picked her up she didn’t smell like a boarding facility!! The facility is clean, very organized and each staff member I interacted with was pleasant, especially Constance & Tiara (sp). We’ve found our daycare & boarding home here in GA! Thanks again and we will see you soon!!

I ended up visiting Viking Alchemist as a result, but planned on visiting sometime in the near future nonetheless; they’re literally in the same building. The mead was tasty, the staff friendly, and the mojo quality. I like a low key place with local vibes and this fits the bill. I’ll be back sooner than later. Wish they were open more days and hours than their current schedule.

1265 W Spring St, SmyrnaWe stopped in on the day of a free concert and sadly on event days they don't do flights. That was ok though because they had one of my favorite breweries on tap..... Untitled Art. They're known for sours especially. So my fiancé got the Untitled Art Blueberry sour that was very close to a smoothie sour and I had a Watermelon Habanero Cider. They were absolutely amazing! The Stout Brothers had over 20 beers on tap so you'll find whatever you like and maybe even leave your comfort zones and find a new beer you'll grow fond of! Definitely stop on in and have a beer filled adventure next time you're in the area! Oh and P.S. some beers are priced at 8ozs but they'll ask you if you want a full or half pour. The half pour is the 8oz and the full is 16oz. That means if you do a full pour you'll pay double for the beer. Let's be honest though.... for a phenomenal beer you might as well have you a full pour!

I had 2 awesome servers and one “just ok”server. The restaurant has a lot of potential to be amazing (and healthy)but my critique is meant to be honest and helpful.

The beer is good here; had a Pilsner and a hazy IPA, and enjoyed them both. Staff were friendly and attentive, and there’s a good amount of parking in the area. Glad I finally checked it out.

The lady that answered was so sweet and empathic as I called and let me bring him in. They have many options and were def the cheapest places I’ve seen around Georgia. They also provide a sweet certificate and a box for his ashes.
