6235A Roswell Rd NE, Sandy SpringsRegrettably, I didn't catch the name of the young gentleman working today, but his exceptional assistance and politeness during my numerous questions and requests were greatly appreciated. We'll definitely be returning; my pup thoroughly enjoyed the visit and the attention from the entire staff!

Dog City Bakery II
6309 Roswell Rd NE Suite 1E, Sandy SpringsI came in here to look for treats that I could give to my 12 year old dog who has a sensitive stomach. I hadn't been able to give her any treats for a few years because she ended up either throwing up or having diarrhea - yeah, just from eating treats. This store is on the small side, but they pack in a lot of various inventory, and the woman that was working that day had an extremely positive and energetic personality. The checkout area is in the middle of the store, so employees can see everything going on. The employee was behind the register ringing someone up, and when I walked in, she called out a warm hello to me. I looked for dog treats and found some commercially bagged ones, but it didn't look like any of them were specifically for dogs with sensitive stomachs. The employee came directly to me after helping her last customer, and asked me if she could help me find anything. I told her that I had a small dog who had a sensitive stomach, so she told me that she had some baked ones at the table closer to the door, and walked with me to where they were located. They looked like cookies or crackers. She told me that there were baked treats with different flavors, like blueberry, pumpkin and others. I told her that I was wary of buying a bunch of treats, especially since I was unsure how they would affect my dog, so she just started selecting a few of the treats for me to take so my dog could sample them at home. She gave me four of them for free. I thanked her for her help and left, happy that I could try these treats on my dog. I later gave my dog small bits of each cookie. She loved them and they didn't affect her at all. Great find!

Petco
5938 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy SpringsThe groomers are The best! But newest manger is a putz! My dog is older and after 12yrs of being loyal the manger calls to tell me 2 days later My dog is too old and “ I need a private session.” So now i’ve been fired as a customer. How about offering a solution, i’ll pay for two groomers. Get rid of this guy, y’all are better than him. Carol and Sonny are the best! I’ve been taking my 65 pound pitbull/aussie mix here for over 12yrs and they always do a great job. We were running late and they stayed until we got there. Thank you we will keep coming back. keep up the great work but get rid of that new manager.

Pet Grooming
Fido Fido Dog Daycare & Boarding
275 Mount Vernon Hwy NE, Sandy SpringsI have so many great things to say! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.Firstly, I'll say the cleanliness is obvious when you walk in. That's important to me.So it starts with the evaluation day. They really did evaluate him. They told me details about him that they wouldn't have known without having the expertise and knowledge to truly understand the dog. They took their time going over the evaluation with me.They keep them in small groups of 5 dogs max, not in indoor rooms with large groups of dogs like some other day cares do. And the dogs get outdoor play as well, weather permitting, of course!Human to pup ratio is great, so they all get a lot of loving all day.Rather than long playtimes less times per day, they do shorter but more frequent playtimes. They work on exercising them physically and mentally. Primo comes home tired, like a kid that's played all day with his friends! I love it!Whatever commands your pup knows, if you want, they will incorporate them with your pup during playtime.Primo is thriving here. One time when I was picking him up, his handler was leaving for the day she loved on him and said good-bye, and he followed her as if he was going with her, and I was standing right there! He obviously loves the handler, and that just warms my heart. They celebrate holidays, do picture taking and make homemade treats for your pup.The staff is AMAZING. I don't have the words to express how AMAZING they are. They love what they do and it shows. fido fido is always training the staff keeping up on all things dog; that is something that I haven't heard from other day cares as I've researched where would be best for Primo. I can't imagine bringing Primo to day care or boarding anywhere else. It's Primo's family and home away from home.fido fido is the BEST hands down!!!

Dee's Grooming Gallery
290 Hilderbrand Dr b7, Sandy SpringsI legitimately love and recommend the staff here. They have taken care of my dogs in the past and done amazing work and timely. The fact that this is an independent business and not some mediocre franchise makes all the difference. I hope they stay around and open as the gentrification continues on Roswell road.

Perk-N-Pooch
6690 Roswell Rd #360, Sandy SpringsMy dog is always taken care of here! Yes, it's sometimes busy to get on the schedule, but it's always worth it. The staff are super friendly at the front and always welcome my dog, and help take her back. We love Susan who grooms our dog. You can get a coffee while you wait in the coffee shop, but normally I just leave and come back when she's ready. T here's a curbside pick up option if you need as well.

Pet Care
Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care
6223 Roswell Rd Unit 365A, Sandy SpringsJust adopted a 3 year old dog, and had ALL the first time dog owner questions for Sierra and my vet. We updated my dogs vaccines, planned what upcoming visits could look like, talked about how to keep my pup feeling safe and acclimated to her new home and lots more. I felt so heard and informed by both staff members. They were super sweet to Lily, and I’m so grateful for their patience with all of my questions. I’m also super impressed with their annual membership option to cut out fees, and to have a virtual vet on the app 24/7 is such a game changer! I also got $100 through their discount on her vaccines. Highly recommend Petfolk to anyone looking for a vet for their baby! ?

Pet Sitting & Training
Barking Hound Village Sandy Springs
6332 Roswell Rd, Sandy SpringsI am very pleased with everyone at BHV Sandy Springs. Everyone has been so helpful and accommodating, especially since I had so many questions the first week. My Labrador knows exactly where to go now, and it makes me feel so good when they all recognize her and call her by name. She just perks up when she sees them. I love having the web cam also, and getting the daily “ report card”.

Big B's Fish Joint
4600 Roswell Rd d140, Sandy SpringsI had the Cajun pasta, and it was just okay. It could have used some garlic or a little more layer of flavor. My husband had the blackened trout with spinach and rice. The blackened trout was excellent. It was seasoned really well. I wish I had gotten that instead.

Banana Leaf Thai Sushi Restaurant and Bar
227 Sandy Springs Pl NE Suite 502, Sandy SpringsMy friends and I ordered Chicken satay, keow wan, Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and Prik Khing to go and split between 3 people. Everything was well packaged and separated. I really liked the tangy sauce with the chicken satay as well as the traditional peanut sauce on the side. The keow wan was a very thin curry but tasted creamy and smooth. Drunken noodles were savory but I do prefer more of a saucy version personally. It was my first time trying Prik Khing and it was spicy, well fried tofu with lots of veggies like more peppers and string beans. Overall, I really liked their food. Although a bit pricey, we were beyond full by the end of our meal. I will definitely be trying more from their menu in the future!

FuegoMundo
5600 Roswell Rd H120, Sandy SpringsFood was very good, and service was very attentive, but got a pretty bad case of sticker shock for a pretty standard (albeit kosher) menu. Prices were high, and a 20% service fee on top made me less likely to choose the restaurant in the future. If the service fee is automatic, then why not just raise your prices another 20% and advertise that your restaurant is no tipping and that you pay your employees a living wage? I think our total check was north of $100 for 3 to have a relatively light dinner with one shared appetizer. The food is very good quality and the service is very good as well, but the value is not there for a very standard fast casual Latin menu.Dietary restrictions: 100% Kosher menuKid-friendliness: Lots of families dining when we were there.

1110 Hammond Dr Suite 10, Sandy SpringsCame here in the afternoon to get a coffee. I ended up getting the white chocolate tiramisu latte. Service was great and very quick. The coffee was nice and hot. Didn't really taste like white chocolate tiramisu, just a cinnamon like flavor. Great size. Want to come back again to try the breakfast!
