“As a 2nd-year law student majoring in corporate and criminal law, I can confidently say that my experience with Longshore Commons has been nothing short of exceptional. RJ, the property manager, and Renee, the assistant manager, went above and beyond—working tirelessly, even overtime, to ensure my application was processed smoothly and that I was able to move in seamlessly. Their dedication, professionalism, and unmatched customer service made all the difference.
The atmosphere here is amazing—welcoming, well-maintained, and truly a place that feels like home. From the moment I stepped in, I felt valued and supported, and that’s something you don’t find just anywhere. RJ and Renee truly set the standard for excellence in property management, and I can't thank them enough. If you're looking for a place with outstanding service and a team that genuinely cares, Longshore Commons is the place to be!
Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“I moved here about 8 months ago and cannot say enough good things about this apartment! First, the location is perfect. It is about a 20 min drive to both Tybee Island and downtown Savannah and is on a very cute street with a nearby Kroger and restaurants. It's extremely safe (people get packages delivered to their door all the time) and the residents are all super welcoming. I have put in maintenance requests a few times as well and they are always very timely and communicative. The whole complex is super quiet and clean and I seriously have had NO issues at all!! I looked at a ton of apartments and feel very lucky to have chosen this one. I would absolutely recommend to a friend or family member!!”
“I have lived in Viera at Whitemarsh for the past 2.5 years and I have loved everything about it. The property managers, Veronica and Lisa are very responsive and have always been willing to address any issues. The maintenance guys are so friendly and are there almost right away when you file a maintenance request. The location is perfect, being 15 minutes from downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee. I would highly recommend this community if moving to Savannah.”
“It is with sad news that we are leaving Capital Crest. I have absolutely LOVE living here for the past year!! I recommend this place over any place in Pooler!! I came here for work and have enjoyed the apartment, neighbors, pool and dog park for Bentley! But most of all the Megan, Mel & Victoria. I felt like family when ever I walked into their office with Bentley ( who loved the dog treats) as they seemed to have anticipated my needs and offered exceptional service! I wanted to express my gratitude to all the staff, including Anthony-Maintence supervisor!! I never once considered moving from here until job change occurred. Thank you so much for your exceptional service from front desk to maintenance! I couldn't have been happier and wish the management team the best! Sincerely Michelle”
“I cannot say enough great things about this property. The office staff is phenomenal, I got the opportunity to speak with the manger and she is great. The maintenance staff handles issues in a timely manner and the area is beautiful.”

15 Brasseler Blvd, Savannah“The place is very well kept, apartments are very ample in space and well designed. Overall environment is neat, well cared for and inviting. The leasing office staff - Jane is absolutely welcoming and professional”
“The train is unbelievably loud...though it basically goes through the building so it's not a surprise. The renovations are beautiful, the rooms are dry, and theres a lot of space.”
“First of all, I just wanted to say thank you to April and the rest of the community staff. They have been nothing but amazing, especially when they were helping me get into my apartment. I've had bad experiences in the past, particularly with communication, but the team here has been fantastic with keeping me informed and resolving issues quickly. The community is also very quiet and peaceful, and extremely pet-friendly. My dog loves the dog park they offer here. If you're looking for a quiet place to live, I highly recommend it.”
“Ms Arielle and Mrs Jessica, the ladies in the office are wonderful. They always have a great attitude every day I see them. I see the maintenance men working hard they good people’s. The pool is phenomenal with the grill area. I love the location! Right next to hunter, close to the va, savanna tech, both malls, and so many places to eat!”
“Tour Experience: made reservations online. Was able to tour early. Sadly 1b 1ba tour was unavailable but we got to see a 2b instead just to get a feel of the apartment. Mercedes was welcoming and knowledgeable on everything. She did great on the tour with the clubhouse as well. We were already sold on getting the place. She explained the application process as well. I really appreciate how the staff puts in Social Events for their residents, I saw they had Valentines snacks for them.”
“Savan Pointe had Mr. Richard Dimaggio come out to fix water issues I had in my home, came in with great energy & knowledge on how to resolve the problem & got things done in a timely fashion!”
“Office is ok but their maintenance is great ! Especially the younger guy Jayden he’s super friendly and has my work orders done fast plus there done right on the first try that’s hard to find in these type of community’s these days.”
“The new manager Heidi was great and got my issue resolved as soon as she started last week. She was understanding and apologetic about my situation and made sure it was a priority to get done. Very pleased with new management.”
“Tasev Is so pleasant and had an amazing uplifting spirit! He makes you feel so welcome when you walk through the door! He took care of us right away! He is awesome and we truly enjoyed him! Love his personality! ??”
“My DP and I been living at Buccaneer Trace for the past two months and we haven’t had any issues so far yet, we love our neighbors, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, incredibly kind and helpful. Ms. Debbie, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Laura were very welcoming and helped us transition from Alabama to Savannah without seeing the property. They were willing to send us a recent video of the unit, what will entail within our monthly expenses, no hidden agenda. Nothing. There were honest and straight forward. They helped us move so quickly in a short amount of time. They are the best admin team ever!
When we moved the maintenance team were phenomenal! Whenever I need something fixed, they come in when I’m available and they were respectful, fast, and understanding with what I need done. In and out so fast that it makes your head spin. LOL!
We have wonderful friendly neighbors with beautiful and cute dogs, cats, children, etc and it feels like a friendly area to live in! The Apartment is surrounded by housing properties. So it was interesting to see. The place is cleaned up always, they have lawn, bug, and facility maintenance meaning you won’t see any rubbish or pet accidents outside the complex. They are very clean! You will see squirrels, raccoons, and sometimes you will see woodpecker outside. It feels like tranquility when you live here.
Keep in mind they don’t have “gym” like high end apartments do, but they mostly have cardio machines and a bit of weights. If you are into fitness, there’s a lot of fitness clubs around here: Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, YMCA, etc.
Please keep in mind that it’s on an island, meaning there is not a lot of shopping amenities around like main stores (Walmart, Costco, shopping centers, etc) you will have to drive like 20-30 mins tops to get to nearest city (downtown savannah, pooler, etc) over the bridge, but it actually feels like 10-15 mins. Traffic is not bad. The apartment is 10-20 mins or so from Tybee Island (beach) so that’s a plus! There’s a lot of bars here if you are a bartender like me, there's a lot of job opportunities right there! There’s a lot medical accessibility here (Walgreens, CVS, hospitals, etc). Once you hit the bridge you will see more activities like parks, hiking trails, shops, historic landmarks, etc.
If you don't have a car, there's a CAT bus transportation here that directly takes you to this apartment from downtown Savannah and back! Bus #10. You will have to walk 12 mins from the bus stop to the apartment. If you are not comfortable with bus rides, there are a lot of UBER rides here on the island, however, unfortunately, there's no LYFT here FYI.
We are still exploring the area, but it’s a beautiful place to live in. We haven’t hit the summer yet, so it’s actually nice and breezy so far. I’m nervous about the summer as I’m not sure what to expect.
Highly recommend living here if you are looking for something quiet, away from the city and live a simple life. Again, this is not a luxury high end apartment, it’s a bit outdated and still renovating always striving to keep the place running smoothly, but it’s worth it if you are looking for something small, have a peace of mind and away from busy city.
The cons that I have about this place is how the unit is set up. The layout I’m not a big fan of it as I am claustrophobic and have OCD. If you are like me, having a lot of walls and doors so close together it bugs you a bit. It’s not “open” as as I like it to be, but it’s more of a personal thing as we were moving from a house to an apartment so we are forced to downsize our stuff and it’s a huge adjustment. To me honestly 1,039 SQFT unit feels more like 900-950sqft. If I had one feedback for the apartment complex is to update the layout and open up the apartment a bit.
Other than that, I have no complaints and still highly recommend this apartment for your next m”
