“Omg this place was a dream dollar tree compared to the one in my rinky dinky town. It had all the things and more! Every time I go into mine they never have what the YouTube crafters say they get at dollar tree, but this one does! I could spend $500 easy at a dollar tree just on crafting stuff so I guess it's good I don't live anywhere near this sexy store. My husband was so ready to leave but I was just getting started.The employees were nice, customers weren't uptight like some places in the area.Definitely recommend if you're a DIYer on a budget too.”
“First let me start by saying that I am an avid and some may say dedicated Dollar Tree Shopper/Fan! So I always look for one no matter where I am in the world and rate them in my head as soon as I enter as if they all belong to me and I’m on Undercover Boss or something ?.And, before you ask- yes, it’s that serious because I absolutely love these stores and expect them to exceed my expectations even if I’m just spending $1.25 ?.Lol, in all seriousness I do appreciate them and look forward to shopping them religiously. Every once in a while I come across one that is like the Grand Poobah of them all like this one.I walked in and was blown away at not only how organized and neat it was but how fully stocked it was also. I felt like royalty as if they did it just for me…. Ok, I felt more like a kid in a candy store but you get the gist of what I’m trying to say.Anyhow, they had just about everything I didn’t need (let my family tell it) because let’s face it what store can you get good essentials at a fraction of the price over, and over, and not frequent… Right? Who’s with me? Ok, enough about that. Let’s get to the kicker.As I get up to the counter with a hand basket overflowing with 10 more of the same items I already have at home; there was this friendly, energetic person, also known as the store’s manager working the register with no hesitation, he even had the eagerness to answer questions of those just walking into the store.He was doing more than one job at once and didn’t have one reservation about it. Mind you guys it’s the Christmas season so he was busy, the only cashier, and yet he did it effortlessly with glee. He was a middle-aged African American (I’m horrid with names, but I know descriptions.. ha!) who made me and my money feel appreciated. And if you know me by now, that is essential for me.For that I will pass up others along the way and detour to this particular one anytime! Simply because this place is like Dollar Tree Heaven ? who put this here? They deserve a raise .”
“I've been staying at Wellstar Kennastone Hospital with my daughter for several weeks, and am far from home. So supplies are needed and shopping must be quick. This Dollar General has had everything on my list each trip. The shelves are pretty much always stocked. The prices are great, the clerks and manager are always helpful and friendly. And that keeps me returning each time I may need almost anything. Also, parking is good, so in and out quick and easy. Thanks, and keep up the great service.”
“This is the nicest Dollar Tree ever (in terms of employees/customer service). They say hello when you walk in, they’re super personable. I never have high expectations for customer service anymore but I think it’s super important to give flowers to the workers that still exhibit friendliness in our current climate. Shouts out to the workers!”
“The cleanest, most well organized dollar tree I have ever seen. The cashier was very sweet and said that her managers were a big reason why it's so tidy! It was nice to hear that management is supportive”
“Roberta and Christina are absolute gems. They have the most rockstar customer service. I went to the store on an extremely busy night to get balloons for my son's bday, and when I got to the counter I told her that I would just pick whatever they had that I saw that they were busy, she said "absolutely not! you are a paying customer, you are my customer, we will blow up all the balloons you would like" - she went above and beyond to make me feel so comfortable even though I felt terrible (especially for the people in line). Roberta, you have a true gift for people and I appreciate you so much, it may have been a small gesture to you but it was incredibly big to me, a tire mom trying to survive through the holidays and the birthdays surrounding it! I called for my daughter's birthday on another time, and christina picked up the phone, I told her I was very interested in certain balloons and last time they were out of stock, she went out of her way to go count them and ensure they were in inventory before I came. Those two employees are one of a kind, you do not find customer service like that too often anymore. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!”
“The owners are a husband an wife team. They are the kindest, people u could ever meet.The wife has a very infectious smile and personality. They really care and try to please their customers, I wish all the owners of these various businesses here in Stonemountain had owners and employees as nice ,kind and professionally pleasing. “The store manager Ryan is cute . I think he Jamaican I like his accent . This store is always clean , nice co-workers . They always have what I need . Shelves stay stocked . And make a mental note of who is the original staff at this particular family dollar. don’t let other workers from other family dollars deter you from going to this one . Sometimes they have to grab other workers from other stores to fill-in .”

“Dollar TreePopular store where most of the items are $1.25. Located in East Cobb in the same plaza as East Cobb library and Kroger. Plenty of choices of most commonly bought low budget items. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Plenty of free parking. Great choice for budget items. Some items are not $1.25. Watch the labels and signs before assuming that all items are same price. Used to be $1 for all items before the pandemic”

“I was able to bring my service dog in with me with no questions or problems. Even when she peed inside, they were not mad, it just got cleaned up. The staff is kind and the store was mostly in order. I found everything I needed.”
“Overall I was impressed and I rarely say that especially about FD and those type of stores. The store was cleaner then I expected. The employees were a little rude, and ignored all customers so I can't take it personally I believe it was just a lack of training.”

“The store has really come around. The aisles are a lot more organized and much neater. They are starting to get in items that I would have to go to other dollar tree locations to purchase. Staff has always been super friendly”
“This dollar general is really clean compared to a lot of the other ones I’ve been to. Items fully stocked and facing the front on the day of my visit. Normally the items are still in boxes on the floor at the other stores and I understand that they may be short staffed….. there is a young man African American not sure of his name but he is always there and the last time I came in the customers were hostile cursing and yelling because they couldn’t be a little more patient and understanding . He didn’t get out of character and maintained professionalism I just wanted to say thank you! Keep it up!”
“My favorite location in the area! Staff is often kind (or at least don’t greet you with an attitude-funny how that’s the bare minimum anymore) and helpful if you need to find something. They’re great about actually putting away boxes of stock too, it’s rarely hard to find something if it’s in stock. Sad to be moving away from this location! I really do enjoy the people who work here.”

“Popped into here for fun and was happy to find it filled with lots to pick from including arts and craft items, frozen and pantry food, office supplies, and snacks! Its still hard to believe that the items are no longer only a $1, thanks to inflation. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and ended up coming out with much more than expected. The cashier was super nice and bubbly so I will definitely be coming again.”

“Always have what I need.edit, Well they used to. I walked in there tonight and one the employees was out side on the sidewalk and after I did my shopping and went to checkout she walked behind the counter and then left again. She didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there. I left everything I was going to buy and left. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had at this Family Dollar. Edit 3/12/23 - They had what I needed. Surprisingly well stocked and a quick checkout.”
“This Dollar Tree has drifted far away from the original concept of everything is $1. Everything starts at $1.25 and up. There are alot of $5 items si u have to be careful what u pick up. Yhr ladies at the register were having too good of a conversation to rigmng my stuff. A younger lady came to my aid. The store was messy.”

“I bought several items to make a gift bouquet to congratulate my daughter on her dance performance. Ms. Jessica , the cashier was very kind pausing her work to find some tape for me. Any person who experience a new bought ballon can relate my disappointment when it was carried away into the air! Again I had Ms. Jessica’s best caring service when she quickly make me a new ballon free of charge. How I wish this is my neighborhood’s dollar tree.”
“Regular Dollar Tree. Stuff starts at $1.25. I used to always go there when it was $1. Disappointing they decided to raise all prices. Check before you go because it is not always open business hours. They were out of helium today. Luckily they had so.e birthday balloons already filled. Fast cashier.”
“It's an understaffed dollar general - idk why people have such high expectations when going hereThe cashier lady was very sweet and polite while ringing me up. The cc machine was acting up and she had to reboot it for me, and everyone in line was patient and kind about it. I noticed she would greet everyone who came in, and customers would kindly greet her back.Perhaps if we all made the smallest effort to be kinder and more understanding with each other, we wouldn't be trying to find a reason to be upset all the time.”

“Just your standard fare Dollar Tree located in an upper scale shopping area, so you didn't feel unsafe. An older store and some of the aisles seemed a little cluttered and either out of some items or fully stocked on others. Cashier was very nice and courteous.”

“Very shocked that Sandy Springs even had a Dollar General for the upper class environment. Typical dollar general. I personally like hearing music that they play in the store people always notice me singing to some Patti Labelle or Aretha Franklin song lol. Over priced as usual but thats Dollar General . I prefer Family Dollar actually but the closest one to us would be Norcross. Quick grab and go place if you live in this neighborhood and don't want to drive over the river and through to woods to Target and Walmart in Alpharetta.”
