“I love my experience here, from finding many wonderful items, the kind nice ladies at the register, and the donor door guys they are hardworking guys especially for being out there during the weather been having taking donation.”
“Took my cat for her spay appointment last year 03/24 and vaccines. The process was quick and efficient. I had some questions and concerns after her surgery and the lovely staff answered me quickly. Thank you all!”
“Employee was kind. I like their selection of jewelry. I found an item inside a bag and I’m glad it was priced too. Very neat place and it was a nice experience for my first time visiting.”
“Everyone was very nice and helpful. My fiance and I were in a bad spot and they allowed us a voucher to be able to stay where we were,.We didn't have many clothes or food and they took care of that also. They also have someone there that will help you apply for food stamps and Medicaid. In the waiting area a lady from Waffle House was there offering positions in any area you were residing.Great place.”
“Depending on your appointment there be some good food. But if you are a vegetarian or vegan your options are very few. It's every 2 weeks by phone text to set up appointments to get food”
“They are GREAT! I was recently adopted by a stray cat and had no experience and they provided everything I needed to get him started with shots an neutering and info on how to take care of my new buddy. I have been donating for years and am very glad they were there when I needed them!”
“We hosted a community program at Alif Institute, and it was a great venue for the group! Their building offers ample space for events with plenty of tables and chairs, and their large projection screen was great for presentations. Hosting a community-focused class surrounded by Alif's exhibitions and market was a great addition to the experience. Their staff was very welcoming as well! I absolutely recommend working with Alif if you need a venue for a community event, whether it's a social gathering, educational program, or anything else.”
“We volunteered at this location a few weeks ago with our women Aspire group and volunteers from my company. We spent the day helping them organize their stock and labeling it correctly. It was a very enlightening experience going through all the donations. This organization provides diapers, clothing, and other baby items and items mothers may need for themselves. Families can come in and shop for the things they need for their new baby. The staff was very friendly. I look forward to volunteering again.”
“We appreciate the Dekalb Chamber of Commerce so much for making an impact in our community and the small businesses in our area. The chamber is forward thinking, hard working and determined to set its members up for mutual success.”
“My late wife and I have been long time donors, and my late wife was a recipient of help from AKS. I am forever grateful to this organization, and the assistance they give to dialysis patients. I encourage anyone who donates to consider donating to AKS.”
“My family loves this Boys and Girls Club location. The staff are wonderful and work seamlessly together. They are very attentive, accepting, and welcoming to all members. They genuinely strive to 'see' each child, get to know them, and become true mentors; it's not just a job for them.
They offer a well-rounded variety of programs, clubs & sports, field trips, summer camp, and overnight camps. There really is something for everyone ensuring all kids feel included. As an educator, it's fantastic to see kids engaged in learning that goes beyond test preparation. They're excited to participate and learn.
Any issues I've noticed have been handled smoothly. The staff are all ready to hear and help with any concerns I may have. Parents are kept informed which is extremely important to me.”
“The YMCA is the best place to do so many activities, classes, exercise and swim. The staff is wonderful and the facility is spotless clean. I enjoy spending my mornings here at the Y.”
“Took awhile to get Lily, but she was worth the wait. The staff is also friendlier and more helpful than the ones at the Chamblee-Dunwoody location. The paperwork and application were filled out online. Not much of a wait when compared to the other location.”
“Excellent execution of social distancing guidelines and contactless drop off. Popped the trunk. Goods were retrieved. Receipt left in trunk per my request. Nice!”
“My experience at the Aikido Association of Atlanta has been nothing short of exceptional. The many instructors are highly qualified and skilled, making learning the art of Aikido both effective and enjoyable. Safety is a top priority, and the dojo provides a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels, where everyone feels like family, even newcomers. My family and I are proud to be members, and we look forward to continuing our Aikido journey here for a lifetime.”
“Great networking, great events. If you're a business owner or operator in Gwinnett, you owe it to yourself and your business to participate in the networking events. Always well attended, always dynamic.”
“Beautiful large farm & barn, part of DeKalb County Parks & Recreation system, with Atlanta Audubon (removing invasive species & planting native ones), Little Creek Horse Park Foundation (supporting entire site; membership & volunteer opportunities!), Stride Ahead Equine Facilitated Therapy & Learning (varied, flexible, & fun volunteer opportunities!!), Atlanta Riding Academy (lessons in hunt seat & jumping), Mark's Riding School (lessons in general equitation & dressage), and Saturday morning meetings of "Pony Crew" club for kids -- all operating at a high level of quality & concientiousness. Strong barn director, assistant director, & staff adhere to best practices for the safety & health of the horses (& safety of the humans, too). Privately owned and school horses are boarded here. Multiple pastures, mostly Bermudagrass (& I think some crabgrass). Hay, feeds, balancers, & supplements, plus winter blanketing, provided to horses according to owners' instructions (& horses' needs). Nice outdoor arena with lots of jump and cavaletti equipment. Well-maintained, large, indoor arena (I think traditional dressage arena size) with soft combination footing. I've ridden horses off and on all my life & am in graduate school in equine science. I took dressage lessons here for 3+ years 30 years ago, resumed 2 years ago, and find it super therapeutic. I also enjoy volunteering for Stride Ahead. The best way to get information is to visit, park your car inside the motion-operated gate, walk to the far barn entrance, and look for a staff member to show you in what area of the barn each organization operates. Go to that area and get phone numbers from posters on the walls. Do NOT feed, give treats to, or touch any horses when you visit because what you think a horse might like could make him or her very sick, plus you never know which horses like to "nip at" or bite your fingers. But DO visit and look at the website! ”
“I had the pleasure of working with CCS on their website and got to see how much of an impact they are making in the community for those people, young and old, with developmental disabilities. They are a quality non-profit that really cares and are truly making a difference in many lives. May GOD bless them as they do this much needed work!”
“I always find hidden gems to add to my wardrobe here! They separate clothes by size, color and garment type and carry name brand and vintage brands. They also have designer handbags!Staff is friendly and helpful (mostly if not all volunteers). If you would like to purchase to help a great cause, or even volunteer your time, visit this cute boutique! READ UP on their humble cause and mission!Visit during their business hours to donate your lightly used clothes, decorations, books, movies and whatnot. To donate, go to the back of the building and click the doorbell for service. If they don't show up in a couple minutes, visit the staff upstairs. It's all tax refundable!”
“City of Duluth has plenty to offer for all ages & family. Events for each season is available online and in the visitors center. There's also the public library which has open access. Library card members can access the library 2 hours before opening & later on after closing. There's plenty of eateries, bars, music halls, parks, and self guided tours. A really neat place for the community.”
“Currently i am studying at Madina Institute. All the master are very good explainer. All the Master teach all of us with example with reality. I am proud to say i am student of Madina Institute.”
“Easily one of the best Goodwills in the area. The staff are always kind and welcoming and the store is probably the most organized one in the county, especially with the books being sorted by genre! It is clear that a lot of care and hard work is put into this location on a daily basis.”
“These people really love to help the community the people who are volunteer here are the sweetest people ever all they want to do is help and make sure that you're taken care of”

“Came across Jerome and his business while looking for a tax accountant in Stone Mountain. He is highly efficient and professional. I had several business returns and a personal return that he was able to turn around very quickly. He even handled some bookkeeping items for me. Very reasonable prices and incredible service. I would highly recommend for business or personal tax returns.”

“I cant say enough about how wonderful Top and his family are. I don’t have a Schnauzer but he did an excellent job working with and training my dog. He gets to know your dog intimately and is a wealth of knowledge about dogs and dog temperament. And all the charity work that they do with the Veterans really sets this family apart from others. I highly recommend Top and you won’t regret buying a puppy from them or bringing your dog for training and you will feel blessed knowing them.”
