“Lovely resort, knowledgeable and kind staff. Some parts of the park trails are under construction until April, it should be beautiful when its done. Parking is a little limited in the afternoon (top and middle of the falls), so try to get an early start.”

“My family and I experienced a house fire the week before Christmas. I cannot say enough how phenomenal the staff is here. They have been a huge blessing during our almost 4 week stay. The breakfast is wonderful. The hotel itself is well kept and very very clean. Our circumstances have lead us to the best temporary home we could ask for. Highly recommend to anyone passing through Dawsonville, whether it’s for the night or a week! The staff define hospitality. They really care for their guests! I wish I could give a 10 ⭐️ rating because without a doubt the quality inn of dawsonville,ga is the absolute best!!!!!!!”

“I’ve been yearning to stay at this boutique hotel and finally found time to visit for a quick weekend getaway. The property is quiet which allowed me to get lots of rest and work done. I was given directions to access the self-service check in and had no issues. One of the owners also checked in with me before my stay and was readily available to answer any questions. My room was very clean and I felt safe. I LOVE the decor throughout all spaces and felt very welcomed. I look forward to future visits at this property. Thank you Limelight!Nearby activities: Lots of wineries and local restaurants nearby.”

“Beautiful place!! We stayed in the Stanton room over the weekend. The owners decorated our room for Christmas, which was an added bonus to the beautiful room! The sitting area was so cozy, especially with the fireplace going. The location is great. We never moved our truck the entire weekend. Everything within walking diatance is how we like it!What a lovely town, especially at Christmas. Lots of shopping and great dining. We will definitely be back and plan to stay here again!!”

“Within walking distance in downtown. Will definitely stay again.Food & drinks: Nice to have the breakfast but the bacon wasn't cooked, too raw, and the sausage links underdone. Not appetizing. Pancakes were rubbery. The coffee and sweet rolls were perfect!”

“Great location and super cute room. I stayed in a 2 bed/2 bath with my family, and our room was equipped with a full kitchen, living room, and balcony with rocking chairs. We were in room 124, literally steps away from the adorable shops and restaurants. It was very convent to walk out of our room and simply cross the street to have breakfast and meander the quaint shops. The room was competitively priced and was a good value for our money. Everyone was well cleaned and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights (Friday - Monday). Here's the downside to this historic hotel:No elevators. We had to climb 2 flights of stairs from the parking lot with our heavy luggage. If you are unable to climb stairs or carry your heavy luggage by yourself, this will be an issue. We arrived after hours (after 10 pm) and were told there would be an extra blanket and pillow in each room, which there wasn't. The beds only had a sheet and a very thin cover and only one of the rooms had an extra blanket. We were cold on our first night. When you stay with multiple people (there were 3 of us), agreeing on the temperature of the house can be challenging (there was one main cooling/heating system for the whole space). Housekeeping should ensure that each room has the amenities it needs. Something as simple as extra blankets should be standard. We were also told there would be bottles of water in our room, which there was not. That may seem like a small thing to mention, but after a long day of travel from the west coast and arriving late at night, it would have been nice to have some bottled water.Being steps away from the main square was a pleasant surprise and welcomed, but it was also very noisy. There were lots of people and street traffic noise on Friday and Saturday night. It was quieter on Sunday, but Monday morning we were awakened at 7:15am by the city's workers and their gas powered leaf blowers. For nearly 75 minutes they sounded as if they were in our room. I know the hotel has no control over this, but they could certainly invest in upgraded windows. The windows in the bedroom were drafty and old with no seal and no screens. Every little noise from outside felt like it was in our room. Waking up this way really soured the end of our stay.Overall, it was a good trip. If we every stay here again, we will be mindful of where our room is located and possibly request one farther away from the busy town square.”
