“Wow! More than I expected. The warm hospitality of this family, who runs this bed and breakfast is unmatched in my travels. I wish I could have stayed forever. They home cook breakfast for you every morning and their pancakes are to die for! I had Bueberry, Walnut, Apple, and Sweet potato! Scramble eggs with cream cheese and a selection of fruits and meats and all the extras where fantastic! Coffee great too! Touches of Germany everywhere and you can even eat your breakfast outside next to the Koy waterfall/pond. I stayed in the Black Forest Cabin and it was hard to leave every day to go out and explore the the Helen. The family made you feel like you were at home away from home. They constantly asked if you need anything, just let us know! When I arrived, they walked me around and showed me everything and then, they also took time to show all the hot spots around Helen on a map. I've never had a hotel go into that depth to make sure their customers are happy. Stationed in Germany for 6 and a 1/2 years I definitely felt I went back in time! Thank you Terry, Angie and Denise! God bless you all and I will definitely be back!

Nearby activities: Anything you want is within walking distance... A ton of restaurants, shopping, tubing, grocery store, churches, and taverns!!!
Safety: The family stays on site, so they're always walking around and making sure we're happy!
Walkability: Everything is within a ten or fifteen minute walk.
Food & drinks: Anything you want to eat is nearby.”

“Wife and I stayed 3 days and 2 nights for my birthday and our Wedding Anniversary in the windmill. Room. #40. Room was clean and roomy. Wife loved the double shower heads in the tub. House keeping was great and was alway ready to help. Would love to try their hot tub rooms. Great place to stay.”

“Why have we waited so long to stay here? We booked a room with our kids to stay in Helen for the night at the Helendorf. I called the hotel directly to make the booking. The clerk was fast and friendly.We were pleasantly surprised by the room. The quality and cleanliness were top notch. We enjoyed the view of the river from the balcony.The location is perfect for walking around and exploring the area. Great shower, clean room, comfy bed, we couldn't ask for more.The check-in/out process was quick and courteous. We will be back for sure!”

“Beds are very stiff. Rooms are very nice and super clean. Breakfast is top notch! Delicious. No hot tub here, pool is nice and warm. A few vending machines. Great coffee. There was a younger lady working the front desk when we arrived, she was super nice and friendly. Plenty space to park. A little to far to walk to the river and troll tavern if you are an older couple. Younger people is fine about .5 miles.”

“The room was cleaner than expected for such a small cheap hotel. Could do with updates but it was a great place to stop for a night on a road trip.
Nearby activities: The town square with a bars and shopping were close by.
Walkability: Restaurants, bars, convenience stores, grocery store, shopping, the town square.
