“Locally owned, independent bookstore and stationery store. The stationery here is imported from Japan, and they are high quality Japanese goods. There is a selection of grocery goods that are also imported and books (which I assume are Chinese, but I don't speak/read Chinese so not entirely sure). The owner is incredibly kind, positive, and is so welcoming. She showed my husband and I pictures of her cats and provided all sorts of information on the stationery she carried. I've been here a dozen times or so, and I'm always excited to go back every few weeks to see what else has arrived in the recent shipments. Also, the prices here are SO reasonable. I haven't seen any markups compared to buying these supplies from huge name online retailers, so it's affordable for the quality of products you get; even better is that you get to see it in person before you buy rather than placing online orders and hoping it's a good product when you open the package. Absolutely recommend this place and encourage people to shop local whenever they can.”

“If Phoenix and Dragon were in Midtown? I'd be there multiple times a week. But since this absolute jewel of a store is tucked away on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs it'll have to be a special-occasion thing. I went with my 5-year-old and, while I had to restrain him from touching everything, he absolutely loved it. We got a crystal for our new EV and for his room. The people here are super nice and helpful, and the selection is out-of-this-world great. I'm a huge Nagchampa fan and their selection of incense is amazing. the book selection is legit too. Highly recommended!”

“Love this bookstore! It seems like someone's front porch but the bookstore is cozy and has a great collection of books. They have all genres of books, stickers, Agnes Scott Merch, and Knick knacks. There is ample parking in the back of the store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They carry a superb collection of books on "Politics of Place", "Women and Race", and "Children's Books". It is a reader's heaven and a perfect place to buy a gift. The books are moderately priced. They have month-wide events for readings and discussions. I highly recommend bringing yourself here with a cup of coffee and kindling your thoughts with some amazing reads.”

“Books for every interest and taste, all at reasonable prices! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, too. One tiny concern - cats roam these halls, so if you have a serious allergy or fear, you might want to avoid it. But otherwise, a quaint paradise for lovers of reading.”

“While visiting Atlanta, my friend took me to Eagle Eye. I'm a big fan of small, independent bookstores. Eagle Eye manages to sell both used and new books, have an inviting and friendly feel, all while looking modern and not overwhelming. While I didn't see the events in person, they had a schedule of events for the store that looked fun. Lastly, I really appreciated the local authors section near the front.”

“WOW, I never knew the impact that this place would have on my life!I have been looking for some plant base cold cuts online for a while, but I couldn't find anything local and I didn't want to take a chance on shipping! Then my cousin told me about this place! To my surprise, they had plant base cold cuts and more! Everything in the store was vegetarian/vegan!I was like a kid in a plant-based candy store! There was so much to choose from!I was able to purchase items that I haven't had since I stopped eating turkey base cold cuts! And the killer thing is I passed by this place just about every day and never realized it had an all-vegetarian grocery store in it!I will be back!#abcchristainbookstore”

“Oy Toys/And Thou Shalt Read is your go-to bookstore for your Jewish children's and pet toys, and children's books. Christian items are also available. It's also a great place for unique religious gifts - we all have Jewish friends we often don't know how to buy for at holiday times. I have never seen a bookstore with so much to offer in so little space! RuthE will find what you need whether she carries it or not, and she'll ship anywhere. Forget online, just ask RuthE for what you need and she'll save you the time browsing and researching with her vast knowledge and helpful tips. A must stop and shop in North Metro Atlanta!”

“I have been blessed by LOMM in various significant ways: • gaining a better understanding of the importance of Passover in the life and ministry of Jesus through Murray Tilles's Jesus in the Passover presentation. • having the Bible come to life in a new way through Murray, Alana, and Anna Beth's insights into the places of the biblical events through the LOMM tour of Israel. • capturing a fresh vision for reaching people with the Gospel, especially the Jewish people through Murray's example and teaching ministry. • the staff of LOMM have enhanced my pastoral ministry and blessed Midway Community Church immensely!”

“Went to an amazing event this weekend. Was the first time I've ever been inside the ACU campus. The parking was adjacent to the campus building we were headed to so no issues with parking. But even on the weekends it was $12! A lot! Also, the system did not read my ticket printed so I had to pay $24 to get out as they charge $24 for a lost ticket but the security help kept disconnecting the call so I had no choice. Staff - they had some CAU staff on site for the event but mostly event staff were present. Atmosphere - now the building itself definitely have HBCU vibes!! Loved everything about it! Nothing seemed dirty or too outdated. Everything worked in the bathrooms and the technology supplies were updated. I appreciated the school hosting the event and look forward to visiting for other events as well. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning. Thanks Brittney”

“I've lived in the area as a kid and just recently moved back. I loved this book store as a kid since it was so small it fulfilled all my cute library dreams reading in there haha. It is located in the Toco Hills plaza next to Kroger and Pikes, and the parking lot is huge so no worries on parking. The book store is small but is filled to the brim with books. I had a lot of fun browsing and bought two books. I heard there was a cat, but we did not see it on this trip. I am hoping to see it on the next one!”

“I have been shopping at the Cathedral bookstore for nearly as long as they have existed. I love this store! The staff is always kind, patient, helpful and peaceful. Their buyer is very thoughtful and purchases exquisite reasonably priced jewelry, candles, stuffed animals, books and other items that are not only appropriate for Christians, but for anyone who is looking for a lovely gift for themselves or others. In recent years they have expanded to include a wonderful Hispanic section of spiritual books and other paraphernalia that I have often seen in Mexico and thought at the time, "How lovely." I recently discovered that they are also serving as the books store of Christ the King and have a wonderful Catholic selection. If you want to go to a non-hectic, peaceful, beautiful, privately owned gift /book store (there are that many left...too many chain stores!) with its own distinctive personality and a gracious staff...this is the place! I have found that nothing is overpriced here and I'm so grateful that they are still around. I pray they never close!”

“Great bookstore and reading room specializing in Black books, records, and paraphernalia. You can spend a good amount of time looking at everything, listening to the music, and/or talking to folks sitting at the center reading table.I picked up an incredible hard-back Langston Hughes book of poetry and design inspiration on my last trip (see photo). Recommended.”

“The staff & owners truly deserve 5 stars. They are always trying to help independent authors opening the store up to me and my novels. Allowed me to set up a table and sell my books at their events. Celebrities often are hosting the events. I met Terry Woods there. J Prince, Master P, Musiq Soul Child, Common, Stacey Abrams, Zane, and many other... Please drop through sometime I promise you will enjoy the experiences.”
