“So... our church in Buford received an "anonymous donation" of (6) 255/70R22.5 bald truck tires - deposited in our detention pond (see photo) about a week ago :-( . We were trying to do the right thing with them and not make them someone else's problem. So, we checked with Centers for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) Athens, SA Recycling Lawrenceville, etc. - none of whom would accept tires for recycling. “Absolutely amazing! We were on the road with 4 kids in our van driving to a campsite. Van started shaking bad, Sunday at 1pm. Pulled off to Pep Boys, they would not fit us in even though we had bought new tires from them one day earlier in preparation of our trip.
