“My car got a flat while out of town, no one carries these tires, so I asked them to patch the hole and get me on my way. Unfortunately, while the hole was still in the tread, the length of time driven while flat weakened the side wall too much and made it unable to be repaired. He even was going to apply the patch and pump the tire up just to show me what he's talking about. I stopped him from doing so, he was being honest, and my local tire shop said the same thing when I got back and ordered a new tire to be shipped. He could've easily done what I asked, charged me the money, and let me limp away only to have an issue shortly thereafter. I hate that I couldn't give them any $ since no service was performed, but the least I can do is let everyone know, from my experience, the owner is an honest and decent person and I think you would be wise to do business here if given the opportunity.”
“This review is only for the gas station at Sam's Club.We came here to fill up the gas tank before driving back to Atlanta. The gas price was the least expensive in Athens. The gas station was clean, and located across the parking lot from Sam's Club. The station's queue area leading up to the pumps could accommodate many cars and the painted lines were straight and visible. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait in a long line; however, the wait time was extended due to customers not being in any hurry. I usually see a Sam's Club employee walking around the gas station, no matter where I go; not this time, though.”
