My dogs went right up to her when they arrived. As soon as you meet her, you know she’s a pet person! She took great care of my dogs and I’m so glad I found her company. It really lives up to the name! I plan to use their services again when I’m in town.

1885 Pat Colwell Rd, BlairsvilleDr Stevenson is by far BEST experienced lead vet in our area and has built a brilliant team of fellow Doctors and staff. After having to unexpectedly put our very ill kitty down, she reached out to me with such sincerity and compassion over the evening. She explained she’d been in the middle of a consult for another pet owner facing the end of their dog’s life but offered to meet with me in person today. I felt such respect for her time and willingness to work me through what all the test results meant on Cornbread. It didnt mean getting my cat back. It was giving an opportunity for us both to work through a loss. She spent a half hour of probably her only lunch break but showed me the ultra sound. She pointed to the kidneys and explained what i was looking at. With her review and consult i could see a mutation just to the kidneys. I needed to SEE to understand. There was no other organ issue causing it. She answered my concerns about my other two and had even offered to give back my money. I politely declinded because all services i asked for were given and as always , quite nicely. They earned what i paid ( yeah it’s expensive but seriously EVERYTHING is now ) but i appreciated that she didnt want me leaving so upset. I left with a better medical understanding and a HECK OF ALOT of respect for Dr Stevenson. She has not only a huge heart and medical skills , she is courageous to face hard moments. And if i should ever require a hysterectomy … i seriously might consult with her. ?

It was in a little strip mall next to dollar general so we weren’t familiar a little hesitant. But boy were we pleasantly surprised. We had the gyros which were stuffed full of meat and veggies and the Greek fries. The fries were topped with feta and pesto and deeeeelicious! The woman was so friendly and attentive also. We highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Blairsville!

Being from the Tampa area it was amazing to hear they have their Cuban bread shipped in from a local Cuban bakery in Tampa. The owners greet you and prepare your food. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. We will return....

The price was very reasonable as well. It's right off the main drag in town, but is sort of hidden. Be sure to check it out.

4971 Gainesville Hwy, BlairsvilleOur first time eating here. I had the smoked chicken, with Mac and cheese. My wife had brisket with baked beans and fries. The smoked chicken was outstanding, as was the brisket. The only thing for us was the baked beans were a little too sweet for our taste, but I know a lot of people like them that way. Decor is fun and the service was stellar. Lots of friendly people work here and it seemed like the lunch crowd was a mix of locals and folks like us enjoying a weekend in the Georgia mountains. Lastly the bonus was having a a really great meal without having to drive into the busy downtown Blairsville area, during the fall season.
I would definitely stop and eat here again and would recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

Mountain Shelter Humane Society
129 Bowling Gap Cir, BlairsvilleMountain Shelter Humane Society was amazing. I found a dog that was on a mountain rd and I checked with all the neighbors and nobody knew who the dog belonged to. I posted notices around town, and with online pet finders. I was traveling so I couldn't take a dog across the country, and it broke my heart because she was such a sweet dog. I called Mountain Shelter and they were very kind and opened their doors to KIA. I couldn't believe how well taken care of the facility was, and how much they cared for KIA. I am forever grateful to them and I hope that KIA found a phenomenal forever home.
