Cohutta Country Store
83 Dunbarton Farm Rd, Blue RidgeFair, Prices, and Great Staff. I have quite the army of fur babies including chinchillas. When I first moved to the area no one sold chinchilla food but they ordered me the food I needed. It was greatly appreciated and affordable.

Love Dogs and Cats Too
757 E Main St, Blue RidgeOur pup Bree is not at all food driven. She will not eat most treats, and never eats any with enthusiasm. Our local fancy store offered her a pumpkin treat recently; one sniff and it was left on the floor. While visiting Blue Ridge in October, we purchased some of your pumpkin treats (the ones sold in clear ziplock bags). Bree sniffs your treats to ensure it’s the real thing and eats it right up! You have changed Bree’s world! Thank you!

Groomed To Perfection
439 Scenic Dr, Blue RidgeOur dogs were desperately in need of grooming and we were having a hard time getting an appointment at home in Kennesaw with our usual groomer. We are here on vacation and thought we might have luck getting an appointment with someone here. We called on Saturday and Tonya was able to get our two babies in on Monday! Both of our pups are typically anxious when being groomed, but they both did well for Tonya. We may have to travel up here for their grooming in the future because they both turned out so cute! Great job!

Ocoee Animal Hospital
88 All Creatures Pl, Blue RidgeI have been bringing my dog here since we moved to the area 5 years ago and I have always been pleased with the service here. The front staff is always so kind to the owners and pets alike. The doctors and technicians seem very knowledgable and are also so kind and caring to the animals. It's very easy to make an appointment and while this is never my dog's favorite place to go, they try to make it as smooth and seamless as possible. Highly recommend.

Pet Sitting & Training
Spirited K9
3427 Sugar Creek Rd, Blue RidgeI was on the verge of rehoming my German Shepherd mix puppy because of behavioral issues. She is very smart and I had done a lot of training using positive reinforcement and leash pressure corrections. She could do a lot of tricks and follow commands...until she would (sometimes) decide not to, and lunge and bite at me. She was also aggressive toward certain people in my family and more rarely toward strangers. I had decided I couldn't live with the situation and talked to Nate Schoemer, whose you tube videos I had been using for training. He said I may need to use a prong collar or shock collar to correct the behavior. I wouldn't have used these more severe techniques without professional instruction. Nate highly recommended Maureen for professional training and she is within a half day drive from my home.I really had not considered professional training for my "free" rescue puppy. But I had spent 4 months training Bertie and was very attached to her. She was a lot of fun when she wasn't attacking me! I took her for a 2 week training and it was the best investment I have ever made.I made some dietary changes and have greatly increased her daily exercise. Instead of fighting against her genetic predisposition, Maureen showed me games to play with her that we both really enjoy! I am now confidently walking her off leash on local trails and although she hasn't yet gotten friendly with all people, she will sit in a climb position when instructed and understands she isn't allowed to bark at them. I know this is a long review but I could go on and on. I am so delighted that I will be able to keep my dog Bertie and I'm no longer anxious that she may attack me.

Rum Cake Lady Cuban Food Downtown Blue Ridge
205 W First St, Blue Ridgegot the vegan bowl which was very filling. A choice of white or yellow rice with black beans, spinach, chimichurri sauce , and plantains ( baked). The Cuban bread is also vegan. They have a vegan "Cuban" sandwich which is nothing like a Cuban but another vegan option at least. It was $11 for the vegan bowl and $4 for the whole loaf of Cuban bread. My husband really liked the Cuban sandwich and black beans have a yellow rice and plantains as well. Would definitely go back!
