“I found this store searching for a shoe brand no longer carried by the biggest sporting goods store in Athens. I was very happy with the selection of shoes in stock, and the service put the rest to shame. It's nice to go into a store where the staff actually knows the products they sell. It's also great to find the prices match or beat online stores, including the site with big vans dropping off packages everywhere. If you're looking for shoes, hiking or camping gear, or even kayaks and other outdoor stuff, check out Half-Moon Outfitters at the corner of Prince Ave and Barber Street. You'll love it! I wish I found it sooner.”

“First time shopper. Didn’t realize that it was a boutique of sorts? ? But I was stopping by to pickup something for a friends birthday and knew I was out of my element the minute I walked in. The employees were friendly and helped me find what I needed and I was in/out in a few minutes. My only suggestion would be a lanyard or name tag because there isn’t a dress code so I didn’t know who was an employee and who wasn’t! Will definitely keep the store in mind for future birthday ideas.”
