Hey Follow Consumers, heads up on Macy's Furniture and their WORRY NO MORE Warranty--don't fall for it! I want to share a cautionary experience to save you some trouble. Steer clear of their WORRY NO MORE Warranty. It might sound like a safety net, but let me tell you They promise to repair or replace if anything goes wrong with your furniture that's under the warranty guidelines, but in reality, it's NOT True. Here's the deal: they'll ask for pics and videos when you file a claim, but when you do everything they ask, they'll turn around and deny your claim.Saying it's not cover but it is because it's on the pamphlet they give you, but the deny it anyway and tell you to take it up with the other department. It's a frustrating runaround where they shift responsibility from one department to another, leaving you stuck in the middle. They might even claim your warranty is void because you got a discount, due to the several issues you encounter with damaged items and missed delivered dates. Yep, the same discount meant to compensate for the issues you had with your original purchase. And the real kicker? If they canceled your warranty, why didn't they refund the $499 right when you received the discount? Instead, they wait until you need the warranty, and suddenly it's a problem. They conveniently wait until you need and submit for repairs to drop the bomb that your warranty is canceled. It's like they're more interested in pocketing your hard-earned cash than standing by their warranty. It's a shady game, and it feels like they just want your money without delivering on their promises.Consider this a friendly heads-up: Macy's and their upcharge Worry No More Warranty? Not worth it. Save your hard-earned money for something more reliable and trustworthy. Trust me, it's a complete letdown--they won't honor the warranty when you need it most. I wouldn't recommend Macy's or their sketchy warranty to anyone. It's not protection; it's a complete scam. Don't fall for it!

Macys allows men to go into women's dressing rooms. This happened to me twice on July 2, 2023 at Perimeter Macys and Northpoint Macys. The first was at Perimeter. I asked the salesperson to ask the man to leave, she was to business, so I told him sternly to leave and he did. On the same day, in the fitting rooms by the women's bathing suits, a man was in the cubicle with his significant other. I asked the salesperson to have him leave and he ignored her. I then asked for her to call security. She called the store manager who radioed back , it is illegal to ask someone to leave a dressing room. I later spoke one on one it's the same manager who repeated the law and said all dressing rooms in Macys are unisex. NEWS TO ME! There are no signs indicating this, so beware! This could be a potential dangerous situation for your children or adults!

Purchased a purse as a gift. I wanted to return it. I had the receipt. The manager had me to wait about 30 minutes just to say she can't help me.

First, I am not complaining about the store but about the warranty they are selling.I bought a sofa at Macy's 6 months ago and a stain was accidentally made. I decided to use the warranty they offer (for 6% of the price of the sofa).Long story short, they have done anything to denied my claim although it was perfectly legitimate. So I must say that they are acting in bad faith and you SHOULD NOT TAKE it for the simple reason that they will deny it.Lookup up on the web all the reviews about "Worry no more" and you'll see that I am not alone.

I placed Xmas gift for my door. It came in the mail today. The packaged look as if it got ran over by a tractor. The product was bigger than the box itself. All the taping was open and the product was sticking outside of the box. Very disappointed. This has never happened before.

Unbelievable mess. It's seriously heartbreaking how downhill Macy's has gone. Racks on racks of miss matched sizes styles. Piles of clothes that need to be returned to its proper place. Fitting room shut down with racks of crap in front of the doors so you can't get in. And the store needs to completely shut down until it can be organized and cleaned. If they can't find the staff to run the store open it only modified hours or something. The poor staff that is working are at their breaking point and they're embarrassed by their workplace. I was super kind to them and the lady started to cry because she's so frustrated. If they're going to shut the store down do so before Macys ruins its reputation any further than they are by keeping the store open. I worked in retail for years and it made me sick to my stomach to see how neglected it is. Seriously the only solution I can see is a temporary shut down in modified hours. I don't understand where all of these workers have gone now that the government isn't paying them to Sit on their butts and collect paychecks and stimulus checks. Please management do something and save the future of Macys

I was returning a item which I bought for my mother for Christmas. The staff member, Tina, processing my return was the rudest staffer I've ever met at Macys. Not sure if she is still working this location, and if she is, I hope they train her more.

Why is it that everyone that works here is in their 70s?!? I mean that staff is soooooo old!Macy's seriously need to try and get with the times! It's not that old people can't sell or aren't great to talk to or aren't helpful... not what I'm saying here... I'm just saying that if they want to survive the times they need to get fresh, vibrant, and hip. Macy's is like an old dinosaur that is dying a slow death. Their merchandise is dated in a lot of cases, their displays are dreary, their stores are old... they need an update! Upgrade upgrade!I'm not exactly sure why I even come here anymore... I rarely buy anything... even if it is on trend or stylish because the presentation here is just BLAH! It makes everything seem "less so".I know I'm sounding like a punk... but I'm 52 and even I feel like this place is out dated when I come in.

Came in looking for a specific perfume since the store I normally go to was sold out. The ladies working in the perfume section were so kind! Definitely a different experience than I've received at some other department stores and they honored their online pricing in store as well. Will definitely be back.

I was here looking for luggage & even with the sales I couldn't justify paying over $600 for a two-piece luggage set. Journeying over to the Jewelry Department & ended up being assisted by Vonnette, who was such a charm. As I guided her with gifts for the new addition to our family, there was no upselling on her behalf. After I completed my purchases & before I could request, Vonnette offered to gift wrap my purchases - complimentary. While wrapping took place, I made my way to the smell-good departments where Testers are still absent due to C-19, yet samples are happily offered. I returned for those mini gift boxes that were perfectly wrapped up, the boxes were more popular than the Easter Eggs. I experienced outgoing & welcoming customer service throughout the store, regardless of where I ended up shopping. Is it me or does Macy's offer sales on a continuum? Face masks required & the presence of Hand Sanitizers is everywhere.

Was in the shoe Dept 11/20/20 in the evening and I was shopping for my stepdaughters birthday and after finding her a pair of boots and a pair of shoes, I walk up to the register to check out and the cashier was very rude, don't think I will be in any hurry to rush back there! Shame because this location is just 5 mins from me. She needs to learn customer service , would give 0 stars if I could
