Would have been better if they just lost my skis for good. At least I'd get more than the laughable $200 reimbursement after my shipment was lost in the void for about 5 weeks. Nobody could tell me where they were or what the status was. Had to rent equipment on my trip for > $1000 and was without my stuff for prime ski season. This was supposed to be convenient -- instead it was a hassle with tons of lines, waiting, emails and phone calls to resolve. Their promo material says "guaranteed delivery" -- far from it. When they screw up, they don't make it right. They just leave customers frustrated and unsatisfied.

Sundance emailed us this concierge service to ship our skis there instead of checking it in at the airport but Shipskis lost our skis. Would recommend just checking it at the airport. $200 coverage will not cover cost of skis, poles, boots, helmet, goggles and jacket for even 1 day, let alone 3.

This is absolutely the worst company ever. They lost my ski boot bag that had other valuable items inside as well. Totally unhelpful. They don't care about customers or customer service. They are a fraudulent company. Scam! Beware!! You will not see your property again!! I am contacting an attorney!

All this company does is over complicate a FedEx shipment. Save yourself the headache and ship directly with FedEx. They don’t seem to have any special relationship or care for equipment and they don’t share the FedEx tracking number on the online portal. I would not trust shipping equipment with them.

I've used Ship Sticks a number of times and have always had a great experience. I love that they offer really premium insurance on your clubs and that they have 24 hour customer service as well. Most of their competitors will just reroute you to Fedex or UPS. I've used them for years and they make traveling for golf and with a family so much easier.

Our equipment never showed up for our entire trip. Not only that, but it appears like it never will. Obviously they stole all our ski and snowboard equipment. I noticed in some of these other reviews, someone responds and says they reviewed their situation and want to make things right. I’m sure that’s the reply I’ll get. That’s also what they say on the phone and then they ask if you have any further questions. And that’s it. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. There are many other options for shipping your ski equipment. If you Google “ship ski equipment” you will see lots of options with much better reviews. I can’t believe I didn’t pay closer attention to these reviews beforehand. I will continue bothering this company until they give us back all of our stuff.

Very bad service. Sent my golf clubs and they were first lost and Shio Stick did nothing to help. I kept calling FedEx to deal with the situation. It has been over 4 days, my golf trip has ended and yet no sign of the clubs. I will never use ShipStick as they are not responsible or trustworthy. will never recommend them.

I could not be more unhappy with this company. The last two trips for which I used them, my clubs did not get delivered in a timely fashion. I am thankful that they did not lose my clubs as some other reviews indicate, but there is something structurally wrong when a shipping company cannot consistently and reliably deliver. Did I receive a refund each time? Yes... Do I have faith in them going forward? No.

Awful company. A true fraud. This company should not be selling international shipping services as their "service" is unreliable and misrepresented. They delivered my clubs to my hotel after I was done with my full week of golf in Ireland. Rented all week and every course I rented from laughed when I said my clubs were shipped via shipsticks. Shipsticks regularly accepts money and ruin people's golf experiences while knowing they will rarely deliver clubs on time. They blame customs. They should blame themselves for fraudulently marketing a service they know they cannot deliver reliably. If they had said there is an 80% chance of failed timely delivery no one would use them. Class action lawsuit waiting to happen. Stay away from this company.

I wouldn't recommend ShipSticks to anyone. They picked up my clubs a day late after asking me to leave my clubs outside for an entire day where they could have been stolen. I paid for overnight shipping in order to make sure I had a buffer day and the clubs won't even make it in time. Offered nothing to make it right. Terrible business, provides almost no actual value and the customer service is bad. You are better off just bringing them to FedEx yourself. At least that way you only have to deal with one horrible company to get your clubs to your destination.

This only gets 1 star because the bags were picked up on time and that's about the only positive experience we've had with this company. My fiancé and I are part of a group that was headed to Ireland for a golf trip. It's our first trip here and as an avid golfer, he was so excited! He shipped his clubs 2 weeks prior to our trip with a guaranteed date of arrival at the first course by August 16th, three days before his first tee time. It's now August 22nd, two golf rounds of this trip down, and still no clubs. He had to rent clubs and buy new shoes to play. Thankfully, he's a roll with the punches kind of guy, but this has been beyond annoying and every single golfer in our group (6 total) has been horrified by his experience with this company and will never use Ship Sticks because of this experience. They are also going to tell all of their golfing friends to never use it either. This company has been a true disappointment.

I am a first-time (and last time) Ship Sticks customer. I used the company to ship my golf clubs to Ireland from the U.S. I had assumed (wrongly) that Ship Sticks directly managed the shipment above/beyond FedEx or DHL but that is incorrect. The value-add of Ship Sticks is near zero as far as I can tell. My clubs sat in customs for almost four days in Shannon, and then were sent by FedEx from Shannon to Blarney, Ireland (80 miles from my hotel) for reasons that are still a mystery, where they sat for another few days. At no point could Ship Sticks customer service intervene, expedite or really provide any accurate information on what was happening or why. The night before my tee time, Ship Sticks customer service promised they would find a courier to deliver my clubs on time since Fedex could not guarantee morning delivery, then two hours later told me they had decided that the $120 for that service "was too much money" and that yes, my clubs likely would not be delivered on time. They refunded my $220 shipment fee, which is ridiculous since 1) they lost $220 not $120 and 2) actively and deliberately failed to deliver my clubs on time. YOU HAVE ONE JOB, SHIP STICKS! My clubs were returned to me within the estimated six day window, but again, Ship Sticks could not provide any accurate information en route, such as why DHL suddenly put a "shipment on hold" update on my clubs. An hour after Ship Sticks said my clubs would arrive in a day, they were delivered to my front door. Which is fine, but again proving the company really has no ability to influence, intervene or even provide accurate information while your golf clubs are in transit. There is no reason not to just ship directly via FedEx or DHL. The U.S. customer care team was very professional but again, have no ability to influence the process or provide accurate information regarding delays, etc. I was promised repeatedly by the U.S. team that the international team would keep me updated, but I never once received a communication from them. Ugh total waste of money and way too much aggravation.
