I don’t know a lot about fish, yet, but their costs seemed reasonable. Their fish food and decor is definitely reasonable. They have a lot of salt water options and a good amount of freshwater options available to buyers. Def think it’s worth a stop in.

Our dog was so clean and well groomed in a timely manner. It's great that it didn't take all day. I believe that made it so nice for the dog also. We will deffantly be back. Bright Cross Animal Clinic
4165 S Tamiami Trail, VeniceSuch a great and caring clinic for pets. We took our very loved Shitzu in when she was very suddenly very ill. Firstly, despite a hurricane imminently advancing, they told us to bring her in. (Other vets apologized but closed early). Then Dr. Myburgh diagnosed her immediately, got meds in her and put her on oxygen. Her odds were not good, but we came home meds and instructions with a better breathing furbaby who slowly got better over 3 weeks. She is a 14 year old dog so we know there is a limit on recovery but she is playing and pain free now. And I credit Bright Cross with saving her life and giving her pain free few more months. Cannot say enough about how impressed and grateful we are to the entire staff both back office and front.

They have been helping me to get her the right medication‘s to help her through her time of need and me as well and they’re so patient and understanding about her anxieties usually takes me 15 minutes to get her in door. And they just patiently wait they’re really wonderful anyone that’s having their animals treated there know what I’m talking about my hats off to you and your staff. God bless them all.

He’s a bunny and he’s normally a prey animal, So he’s always scared when he meets new people. But they’re always very careful with him. Not very many animal clinics work with exotics and at least they work with him. Thank you guys for being so kind With me in the office and with him getting whatever he needs done?????

Everyone that worked there was beyond kind and understanding of such a heartbreaking moment in my life. They were kind and passionate in explaining the procedure, as well as allowing me as much time as I needed to say goodbye. Which, I'll be honest, I took my time, it was so hard to leave that room. When his ashes came back it was in the most beautiful packaging, in a hand carved wooden box. Such a beautiful sentiment to losing such an important part of my life. Thank you for being so kind on one of my worst days, your kindness will live with me forever.

Recently, I have been here often for surgeries on my beagle who has terminal mammary cancer. I want to specifically say that Dr. Cliff Myburgh and Dr. Maria, their surgeon, have been absolutely amazing through my ordeal with my dog. I have probably called 2-3x each week for a few months and everyone has been responsive and gotten me in /given me what I have asked for quickly. Dr. Cliff goes out of his way to provide advice and suggestions. I also highly recommend Dr. Eva. The staff is wonderful as well and returns calls/emails promptly. It is not the cheapest place but finding a reliable vet is not easy to do and worth the cost.

When we met the seller at the Walmart parking, we were really excited about how cute and friendly the dog was.. They told us we would be the 3rd owners! We had known Tom from his being an Usher at the Cathedral for 30 plus years.. I knew both he and wife had shown their dogs at dog shows for years, but learned that they have a successful training business... I signed us up for his beginner class and can't tell you how great of an experience it was... Our dog became by far the best trained, most obedient dog we have ever had..Just an absolute joy to be around.. I strongly recommend Tom and Sherry to help you make the very best of your furry freind..

200 Base Ave E, VeniceI saw Parise’s on The Sarasota View and decided to drive from Sarasota to Venice to try their cannoli’s and coffee for breakfast. The coffee is amazing. Much better than Starbucks and less expensive. I had a pumpkin mousse and New York cannoli. Unbelievable. They also had Sicilian , cheesecake and peanut butter cannoli’s available as well as other pastries. I took one of their “bowls” home for lunch. Delicious. The husband and wife team are cordial and delightful. There is some outside seating under the trees. I most highly recommend going for some very delicious food. They have many other lunch dishes. Check their Facebook page for hours and the changing daily menu.

124 W Venice Ave, VeniceNice quaint little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Liked the wood accents inside. Huge wall sized chalk board with menu items on the back wall. The restaurant has that eclectic feel to it as does the staff (that is a positive). Waitresses were friendly. Menu looked good with breakfast and lunch being available. Note the times that the restaurant is open. Closed on Tuesday's Wednesday's and Thursday. Hours are from 8 am to 2 pm the other days. So don't make an unnecessary trip. Husband and wife who are the owners and also The lead cooks. Breakfast menu looked good, but wife and I decided to do lunch. I got the cod sandwich and she got the grilled cheese. Plates come with either slaw or pasta salad. Fries are extra and the chef does a little something different, he mixes regular French fries with sweet potato fries so you may get a few surprises if you are not used to that combination. Cod sandwich was not breaded which is a bit different for me. No tartar sauce with the sandwich but rather a remoulade sauce a bit more tart and tangy. Side was slaw which was tangy. Both the entrees were decent, but way more expensive for lunch than we would expect for a grilled cheese and a cod sandwich with a side of fries over $50.00. Worth a visit, but be aware you are going to pay for it.
