My appointment was at 3:00, and I arrived at 2:40. Mark, the manager, took the time to clearly explain an issue they found with my car. Being from Canada, I make a sincere effort not to offend anyone, but when the dashboard of my Audi SQ5 lights up and politely suggests “check the brakes,” even diplomacy yields to self-preservation.
I therefore embarked on a deep and perilous journey through the internet, surveying the full spectrum of braking establishments in the Daytona, Florida area—carefully separating those who merely break your spirit from those who actually fix brakes. After much discernment, I arrived at Mavis in Port Orange, known far and wide as the Kingdom of Tires and sovereign ruler of all things that stop a car.
The appointment was instantaneous—borderline miraculous. The welcome was warm, efficient, and accompanied by a refreshingly clear explanation of what would be done, why it was needed, and how much it would cost (a rare and noble practice).
Presiding over this well-oiled realm was Carl, a man of remarkable courtesy, technical wisdom, and calm authority. Under his watchful reign, the work was completed in a jiffy, the brakes were restored to full virtue, and the bill contained neither surprises nor medieval torture devices.
I therefore award five enthusiastic stars for exemplary service. And should Carl not yet have been officially crowned, I strongly recommend his immediate coronation as King of the Brake Kingdom, ruler by merit and master of deceleration.

Scheduling appointments is extremely easy and convenient (online booking and weekend availability is VERY handy for those who work weekdays)… when waiting in their waiting area, I can even hear staff speaking with walk-ins and they always try to accommodate to the best of their abilities, while remaining honest and realistic on potential wait times.
Diagnostic pricing for various systems is reasonable.
After diagnosing, they go over the results with you along with a price quote and get your permission prior to proceeding.
They showed great flexibility by agreeing to a last minute bulb replacement that wasn’t originally on my service ticket.
Their communication to customers is immaculate. Nick at the front desk reached out to me the day before my scheduled appointment to offer me a sooner time, because they had a last minute opening… even as I sit in the waiting room, I can even hear him reaching out to customers to provide updates, and general follow-ups. He’s always super polite, too! ((There is another fella at the front desk who deserves a superb shoutout, but I didn’t catch his name. It was when I had my AC serviced in June!))
Super easy and convenient place to have your car serviced. So far I’ve had my AC serviced, TPMS sensors replaced, ABS sensors replaced, and a blinker bulb replaced… I’ve had a great experience every time!”

“GREG WAS FANTASTIC !!!!!! He needs a promotion and a raise! Could not thank him enough. I came in to get a tire pressure wand and he came out after I said they had been wobbling and checked , the inside of my tires were bald and the outside that I had touched felt fine so I had no idea. He definitely saved me and my son from a possible accident with tires blowing out and could have quite literally saved our lives. I don’t know a lot about cars and he helped me make sure I did the right thing and searched many times to find a price I could afford. Without him coming out to the parking lot and getting on his hands and knees to check my tires I would have never known. Greg is amazing and I couldn’t be more thankful to him.
