“Reese Chevron Auto Service is a staple in the downtown Sarasota, Florida area and probably the only full service gas station in at least southwest Florida, if not the whole state. This gas station has served generations of people, but sadly, it looks like it will be closing its doors. Another long-established business and I would dare to even call it an iconic institution that has faced its sunset. I shall miss this place. Full service gas in Florida is such a rarity and now one of the few (if not the only) is bowing out of the game. I do wish the owners a lovely retirement.”

“I contracted with another company to install a 500 gal propane tank in my yard in January and in July it was still not done.On July 5th in hired Flanders to install the tank, paid my deposit and on August 3rd the tank was installed in my yard.They took excellent care of me. All of the employees i had contact with were excellent, courteous and friendly.I will only deal with Flanders Gas from now on.Thank you Jeff and all the people at Flanders Propane Gas.”

“it was a nice lil mom and pop owned gas station with ma running the country style ala-carte style hot food line/area., and pa running EVERYTHING else. VERY comfortable, relaxed and uber friendly place to fill up your tank then walk inside and spend 2 hours just talking and smiling. food for the soul and spirit SO good you leave WITHOUT filling your tank that was the main reason you even stopped. a NO BRAINER for a 5++ star rating”

“It's a great little neighborhood gas station and they are very friendly. Lots of variety of drinks and snacks, there's even a Mexican food place inside it now. Gas is average priced for the area. It's more convenient to get in and out of than the 7-11 at Desoto.”

“Came here for for the cheap fuel and read the bad review about confusing pumps. If you can’t figure out which pump to select don’t blame the gas station it’s labeled clearly I’m happy that the advertise price was the same as the one at the pump I find that to be rare lately.”
