Dollar General Market is a larger store with a lot of stuff, generally organized and with good prices on some items. Customers are pleasantly surprised by the name brand selections and find most everything needed for a vacation stay. The concept is considered great for rural areas. However, experiences vary, with some noting a lack of selection on grocery items and problems in the produce department, including rotten fruit. Cleanliness can be an issue. While some staff are great, caring, helpful, and friendly, other cashiers can be disrespectful, failing to greet customers. The store does sell beer and wine coolers.

Fruit I bought a pineapple it was rotten when I cut into it I’ve bought other fruit there and I want buy fruit again. DG has good prices on some items but I go there for some select items..
