“I’ve been going to the Palm Coast location for a few years but recently moved closer to the Port Orange location. I had an oil change and tire rotation scheduled for today. My appointment was at 3:00, and I arrived at 2:40. Mark, the manager, took the time to clearly explain an issue they found with my car. I’m not very knowledgeable about cars, but he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and never made me feel uncomfortable or talked down to. I was out by 3:15 — easily the most efficient service appointment I’ve ever had.”
“Had a bumper bashing on the I4. My car ended up in a shop in Orlando for 10 days till they started taking it apart. Then told me they couldn’t fix it. Had it towed to Superb Auto, which is close to home, after just speaking to them on the phone.
They were phenomenal. It was a difficult job, but they got it done quickly.

Being from Canada, I make a sincere effort not to offend anyone, but when the dashboard of my Audi SQ5 lights up and politely suggests “check the brakes,” even diplomacy yields to self-preservation.
I therefore embarked on a deep and perilous journey through the internet, surveying the full spectrum of braking establishments in the Daytona, Florida area—carefully separating those who merely break your spirit from those who actually fix brakes. After much discernment, I arrived at Mavis in Port Orange, known far and wide as the Kingdom of Tires and sovereign ruler of all things that stop a car.
The appointment was instantaneous—borderline miraculous. The welcome was warm, efficient, and accompanied by a refreshingly clear explanation of what would be done, why it was needed, and how much it would cost (a rare and noble practice).
Presiding over this well-oiled realm was Carl, a man of remarkable courtesy, technical wisdom, and calm authority. Under his watchful reign, the work was completed in a jiffy, the brakes were restored to full virtue, and the bill contained neither surprises nor medieval torture devices.
I therefore award five enthusiastic stars for exemplary service. And should Carl not yet have been officially crowned, I strongly recommend his immediate coronation as King of the Brake Kingdom, ruler by merit and master of deceleration.

“Drove in on an almost flat. Must have picked up a screw. It was a busy day with lots of flats ahead of me.
Mine turned out to be unfixable, and I had to get a couple of new tires, which added another hour and a 1/2 on to my time. I'm thankful I lived local and didn't have to sit there over 4 hours. I'm always treated fairly and respectfully there and given the best deal possible.”
“First i would like to say i only give a review on any business when i think it is accurate and the truth. I had a head gasket blow out on my 2007 and it was not driveable at all. I took it to a mechanic shop where it sat for 7 days and they did nothing to fix it (TOTAL JOKE) Finally I called The Car Doctor in Port from a friend who referred them to me, and spoke with Chris and Taylor and they said they could help me out that what i described that happened to my car was most likely a blown head gasket.. They quoted me a much less price and within 1 hour they got their tow company to drive far away to pick up my car where it was sitting for 7 days untouched and towed it back to their shop. I left them the car and the replaced and fix everything on my car in less than a week and at a very reasonable price. they called me daily to fill me in on what they were doing each day. When i picked up my car they did a few other things and replaced a few extra parts like my radiator and thermostat and things and my car actually runs better then it did prior to this major problem .. Well i found a new shop and mechanics that i can trust and wont steal my money.. they even gave me a full 2yr 24,000 warranty on everything they did , wow wow .. This was a very very good experience and i would like to say THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR EXPERTISE AND HELP......I highly recommend The Car Doctor. P.S. Jimmy is a mechanical genius when working on vehicles... Knows his stuff...also i wont get into cash amounts for my repair but i will say they were much less than 3 other mechanic shops i looked into. and my car is perfect”

“Kosro (the owner of 40 years!) was exceptional to me. Wife and I drove over for anniversary weekend at beach. Just as we are almost to our destination our 2015 Odyssey starting acting up with all kinds of warnings lighting up the dashboard. (Quick call to my hometown mechanic assessed the problem since had a past issue with same problem and he advised the rough cost of repairing AND what to be aware of as "up sells.") We made our way into Port Orange MOBiL (not the gas station!) right at closing time and the owner listened to MY diagnosis and recommended coming back in morning, allowing engine to cool and he would assess/repair.
Arrived this morning at 8 AM, as instructed, he hooked up his diagnostic scanner and agreed with MY diagnosis and informed me of his recommendation of repair BUT allowed me options... which I appreciated!
Fairly quick repair, once engine cooled, so he advised of labor cost, which was a minimum of an hour even though probably a 20-minute repair but that was totally understandable. A modest cost for parts and I should be out the door in about an hour! *While waiting I walked to a Dunkin' Donut 2 blocks down and passed the time.
Actually I'm still waiting before heading back. IF, I have any updates I will be sure to add them but if nothing else follows this line... then conclude that I was more than satisfied and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Port Orange MOBiL!”
“I took my car here because there was an oil leaking from the head gasket that was going to my alternator causing my alternator to break down and not start my car. I have a 2010 honda accord and I also went to different car shops to get an estimate and to show me the problem. Other car shops tell me different things that need to be done that is not part of the problem and would give me a high price to get everything fixed. I went to this shop because it had good reviews and the owner is also the mechanic in charge. The owner, John, showed me the problem and showed me the different parts and prices that would accommodate my budget since im a student. He is very honest and reliable. He even put a quart of oil in my car to recover the oil that leaked before for no charge. I am very happy with the service and have my car back with no problems for Christmas.”

“Jim did this dash cap, but he to had rebuild the whole dash, because brittle, collapsed .he gave me a quote, we agreed..after he got into job he was realizing, it was alot of work..he honored his quote, and he completely did a awesome job on my old 2011 denali yukon. Just a FYI. If your looking for a fast repair, i honestly think hes not your guy..He's a craftsman who is doing a job throughout, so be patient, you will not regret..THANKS JIM, Alot of people who seen it before and after..say it looks orginal. “I was able to work with Mike to get my car fixed and it was a wonderful experience. I dropped the car off in the morning to replace the brakes and rotors. Mike was very honest and upfront with pricing from the beginning. He did let me know mid-way through the day that my brakes and rotors were fine and did not need replaced but the calipers were bad causing the grinding. Mike was able to replace the calipers and finish the job that same day. Overall it was outstanding service and his prices are extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend Port Orange Auto Repair!”
