“I recently bought a 1968 AMX that is partially restored, which Michael and his sons have done a lot of work on. I have a stack of receipts with their contact information on them, and phoned Michael to ask him some questions about his work history with my car. Michael seemed genuinely pleased to hear from me, and spent a good deal of time giving me detailed information about the car I bought. He even typed out the service history on some of my receipts, since many of them were old and it was difficult to read all of the writing. Judging from the condition of the work that he did on my car, and his extremely kind willingness to help me with whatever information he could provide, I would highly recommend him and his staff to work on anyone's valuable old (or new) car. I wish I lived closer to them, because if so, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car to them for any future needs.”

“My Jeep Grand Cherokee wouldn’t start while I was visiting Dayton Beach and I had to have it towed to George’s repair shop. From the beginning George was very communicative, keeping me up to date on his investigation. As it turned out, the Jeep started on George’s first, and subsequent attempts and he was never able to reproduce the crank (but not start problem). He did so much research and analysis on the vehicle and came up with a theory, and explained that theory to me in order to let any future mechanics know if the problem ever reoccurred. Rather than charge me to replace parts that didn’t need replacing (like a fuel pump $$$), George was honest and told me he was not able to reproduce the symptoms. “I needed brakes and a rotor. I have been quoted over $400 for two brake pads and one rotor. They installed two rotors and two brake pads, with a lifetime warranty for just a little over $300, including tax. They got me in and out in a minimal amount of time. While I was there, I noticed that one of my headlights was out. Sometimes, it would just go out and then come back on. They told me I probably had a short and that I needed a pigtail. When I asked how much they would charge me to replace it, they said if you can find a pigtail and bring it back, they would install it for me. That's exactly what they did. I really appreciate that they didn't charge me anything extra. They could have charged me upwards of $50 to do that. I know that if I ever need tires or brakes or anything that they service, I will always go to Terrific Tire. They are honest and reasonable.”

In all cases, my bikes have come out of the shop in pristine condition with all work done correctly. Monkey Works is the only shop I trust to work on my bikes. Eric (the owner) is highly knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to both street and track riding. Jordan is also fantastic to work with. Both are very knowledgeable and have years of experience in the motorcycle industry.Recently, I brought in my R7 to have the wheels powder coated and a variety of parts installed. From obtaining color swatches to updating me on progress, they did a fantastic job. I’ve attached photos of the before and after below.
