I needed to move my home workshop from the garage of my condo in NJ to my garage in Hawaii. It would be a residential to residential ground floor move. I had never needed to ship anything by freight before and didn’t know how to begin. I first looked at companies that drop a cube at your home for self loading and then return a few days later to retrieve it. Living in a condo with strict HOA rules meant I had no place to drop a cube for days and I had no way to load a pod using my ceiling mounted hoist on machines weighing as much as 1,000 lbs each.
