This location, the people who work here, are absolute angels who care!!I am 19 days from changing oxygen supply companies due to the absolute horrible experience with my store in NC. Over the last five years I’d been badmouthing the entire company, only to find out it’s not the company as a whole. There are good apples and bad apples. If only all of their locations treated people like the Clearwater office did, I would never leave. Shane, Melissa, and even their after hours on call technician Chevy showed me there are still people who care in the medical industry.While on vacation in Florida from NC, my floor concentrator broke. I will say the ‘after hours emergency number’ for the entire company leaves a lot to be desired as well. When I asked if they could find out the nearest location to where I was, they told me they couldn’t, but the after hours tech from NC would be able to. Long story short? He’d only been working for the company for two months, had no idea what to do about anything, and no, he couldn’t. I ended up calling the emergency number back after going to their website, typing in the zip code where I was at, and finding the nearest location for them. ? I then had to tell them to call the after hours tech for the Clearwater office. Where the NC tech took 30-45 minutes to call me, the Florida tech Chevy called me in probably five.While he was unable to get me a concentrator that night, the tone in which he spoke to me was so sympathetic and soothing that I actually felt heard. He told me the name of the manager to speak to when it was decided I would call the store when they opened at 8:00.I cannot say enough good things about my entire experience. I was able to drive to them and when I got there, Shane was so unbelievably knowledgeable about the machine. Probably the most knowledgeable person I’ve met in the 7 years of me being on oxygen. He even explained and showed me different ways of cleaning the filters and even showing me one filter and I didn’t even know about. He spent 3-4 hours trying different things, trying to fix it before ultimately having to swap it out for another one. I was okay with this, having nothing else I needed to do that day. During this time, I sat in the reception area and talked to the receptionist, Melissa. She was sooo sweet and funny! Again, she made me feel heard and helped the time pass by quickly. And remember Chevy? While I was sitting in the reception area, he called me to check on me. To make sure I’d gotten in touch with the store and that they had been able to help me. I told him that I was there at the moment.Like I said in the beginning, this store and their employees are absolute angels! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing oxygen or medical equipment! Thank you, thank you, thank you Shane, Melissa, and Chevy!!”
