800 Laurel Rd E, NokomisWe are so very thankful for Driftwood Kennels! The owner, Rita, and staff Danielle and Meghan are AMAZING! They truly love animals and have a special way with them. We are confident our pups are well taken care of while they are there. It is so cool to arrive and have the staff actually kneel down to greet our pups and for the pups to run happily up to see them.A special thanks to Danielle who went out of her way in helping ease our anxiety of having to leave our new young puppy for the first time. He did awesome ( we knew he was in great hands) and his siblings once again had a great stay!

665 N Tamiami Trail, NokomisDr. Kirsch is a very compassionate and caring Veterinary Surgeon. I was given another referral by my Vet and he was not to my liking. I work in healthcare and know a good Surgeon when I meet them, but I also want them to have a caring manner. I had previously searched high and low on the internet for the best for my fur baby and I found him right here.
Everyone was so kind and caring to me and my fur baby. Pricing was very similar from the other Surgeon, but it did not include any aftercare. The other one was expecting me to get my fur baby within 2 hours upon completion of the procedure, Yeah NO.
Here they keep your pet overnight to monitor them and keep them comfortable. Dr Kirsch calls you himself to give you a good report of how everything went. You can call in during business hours and check on your fur baby too. Very reassuring.
Needless to say this is top notch care and I hope never to need it again, but if I do I will be back! I Highly recommend Dr Kirsch and his caring staff.

Nokomis Veterinary Clinic
405 Albee Rd W, NokomisThis is hands down the most kind and caring veterinary clinic I have ever been to. The Dr explained in great depth the details of our concern and followed up with helpful information. Both of the women that worked behind the desk were extremely personable and they made what would have been a hard visit a much more enjoyable one with their friendly nature and their caring understanding.
We will definitely be back for any of our furry and scaly families needs!

720 N Tamiami Trl, NokomisI only had 2 visits to the clinic which were required for the Storm study. All of the interactions with the staff, both in person and over the phone were excellent. If I lived closer, I would use Brandt for all of my pets.

Dr Brown Kate A DVM
720 N Tamiami Trl, NokomisCan't speak highly enough of Dr. Cantwell and her feline knowledge. Having a senior cat is a challenge and she has been very thorough, educational, caring and treats my cat like it's her own. Vet Tech Ashley who loves 'spicy kitties' is amazing with mine and I am relieved if she is there during our visits. When your vet calls you to check on not only your pet but you as well, that speaks volumes to the care they provide.

A honey ham, turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich made with French toast bread. It was very good. A side of grits to go with it. I tried to get a soda water with it, but they don't have carbonated water, so I ended up just getting a water. I can see this becoming a regular stop for whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich with house chips my wife had chicken salad half sandwich witha cup of clam chowder along with house chips. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had half a sandwich and chips left for take out. Friendly staff with reasonable prices. We will gladly return.
