“This place has it figured out. I walked in the door unannounced, and Monika greeted me by name. Granted, it was 11 pm my time in Ga. I asked her how did she know my name? She said everyone checked in tonight besides you. Mind blown! Once I got settled, I noticed my electric razor was dead and didn't have the charger. I went to the lobby to purchase a razor and shaving cream. But Ralph wouldn't let me purchase the items I needed. He just gave them to me and said they were complimentary. What a GREAT staff!!”
“The condo was as described and pictured. The view is amazing.
We had a 3/3 and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice that we had 3 cars and parking is free which you don't get at many condos. The digital information board was wonderful. They were very efficient if we had a problem (not anything big) and handled that day. Plenty of places to eat all around. We did not use any of the free stuff available as we just go for the beach, to eat, and have a good time.
The only drawback is getting to the beach. There are 13 steps up to the boardwalk, cross the boardwalk, and 13 steps down to the beach and then 72 steps to waters edge. Not handicap accessible. However, you can contact the City of Ft. Walton and they have free sand wheelchairs available from 9am to 4pm. They are not motorized, but easily pushed in the sand.
All around, it was a great trip and we would stay again.!!!”

“My only complaints are that breakfast isn't complimentary (I really wanted good coffee in the morning but the lobby doesn't open until 9), but there is a "pricey but good" coffee shop attached to hotel. Parking would have been better if beachgoers didn't fill up the lot. Room is really nice and exceptionally clean. Comfy beds. Very friendly staff. Beautiful pool area. One minute walk to the beach. Would stay here again for sure.
Walkability: Close to the beach.
Food & drinks: Short drive to local restaurants. (+-5mi.)”

“Very disappointing for the price. The front desk staff were not friendly. When we checked out, we weren’t even asked about our stay. Housekeeping was terrible. They didn’t really clean the rooms, but rather went through the actions, usually while talking on a cell phone. The rooms are tired. They even have an old conference style phone in the room. The shower was an old jutted tub with a curtain too small. We had to walk through a breezeway to get to our room. The carpet was worn. Our room, while facing the water, was also right above the ‘Tiki Bar’ and outdoor patio. They seem to just be going through the motions of an upscale hotel. Finally, while not the fault of the hotel, is the location. The surrounding area is VERY busy (we were not even there during high season). There is also a loud tourist helicopter that flies back and forth past the hotel multiple times per day. Not a very relaxing, peaceful or enjoyable stay.”

“Excellent hotel, location, stuff and service.Nice breakfast, heated pool, hot tub and a short walk to the beach.Our family loved the rooms, spacious and daily flexible house keeping. We had our little dog with is and they were available for house keeping at our schedule (when we leave with the dog).We learned that Miramar beach does not welcome dogs when we got there so the puppy had to stay in the room with no issues.Rooms: Spacious and clean.Nearby activities: Short walk to the beachFood & drinks: Excellent breakfast and short drive to good restaurants.”

“The staff at this location is spectacular!!! Everyone went above and beyond our expectations. From Crystal Farrar at the cafe to Joe our favorite bartender took incredible care of us during of 25th wedding anniversary trip! Crystal waited on us every morning greeting us with her beautiful smile and positive attitude. Joe took great care of us in the evenings. He makes the best drinks and makes the environment fun and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back in a few months. Choosing the Holiday Inn was the best choice! Holiday Inn, your employees at this location are top notch in every department. Everyone is so nice at the front desk. See you soon! “Beautiful quaint motel on the beach. The only motel directly on the beach here. All rooms are gulf facing. The balcony rooms provide a broad view of the water and beach. Upon arrival, Karina was fantastic. Extremely nice, personable, and helpful. The room surprised us. Very impressive. You literally need to check this little treasure out for yourselves. You'll be extremely happy with your stay. Very clean, neat, gorgeous beach and water. There is nothing amiss here at all.

“We enjoyed the decorations, privacy, and view. The harbor view was well worth the stay! The service was great. The room was out of date and needed some repairs, but it was very clean with a harbor view that made it very easy to ignore the room.”

“We stayed at club Destin and let me tell you this place is so nice and reasonably priced. They have an indoor and out door pool I so loved the jacuzzi and they have a movie room and a lot of other things for entertainment. The state beach is only 3 minutes away for only $6 you can go in and out the beach all day there’s other near by beaches that’s free but I liked that one”
“We spent a weekend in September in Destin at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa! It was so wonderful. Beautiful views, great big room, quality sushi bar, and a nice pool bar! Highly recommend. I would totally stay here again and plan to make it a yearly trip because it was 100% worth it! Also the spa was AMAZING!”

“Visited for a conference recently. Front desk/check-in staff was not very friendly or helpful. Called down and asked for hangers and was told no because they dont have closets but a few pegs to hang stuff on the wall. The rest of the hotel staff was very helpful and the food was good as well. Resort is nice and well kept for being a little older of a resort. Great view and a relaxing beach!”

“This place was great for the price! Swimming pool clean, parking is tight if you coming in late. Getting the hotel you have to do a crazy uturn and traffic is heavy good luck. This place place is surrounded by many stores in walking distance restaurants too.Bring a broom especially if you're going to thr beach. Dollar tree have $1.25 brooms there is no carpet.The people running the place is pretty nice you have to have a quarter for ice you can wash your also.”

“The elevator on the 3rd floor was not functioning the entire stay and appears to have been that way for a few weeks from what I am not reading of prior reviews. Common areas are dirty - elevator floor and carpets. I am not a fan of carrying my dirty linens to the front desk to get fresh ones. The sign stated it was to respect our privacy; I don't think so! More about staffing. I won't stay here or at a IHG hotel again. Back to our usual spot, the Wyndham.”
“We are locals that don't normally come to the harbor area, but our recent visit was very enjoyable and we loved watching the sunset on the docks! We asked two handsome security staff for directions (one had glasses and one with cool tattoos, can't remember the names), but they were very friendly and also gave us a restaurant recommendation to check out. We felt very safe and welcomed!!”

“My mom, daughter and myself stayed from March 31-April 6, 2024 and this was our first time in Destin. We absolutely loved the area. The motel was amazing and their staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. Our keycard reader on our door stopped working during our stay and they promptly had maintenance come and replace the entire thing. The pool was always clean and my daughter enjoyed swimming everyday. We were perfectly in the middle between downtown Destin, the beaches and fort Walton. We absolutely would stay again!”
