By far the best experience I have ever had at a post office. That may not be a big deal to some but it definitely makes a huge difference where you receive service. “This is the first time I’ve ever written a Google review. This post office deserves it! They are SO NICE! You can tell the employees care about you and they seem like a family there. Our mail wasn’t getting delivered since we just moved and the previous tenant had “all mail forwarded”. All it took was visiting this office in-person for less than 5 minutes and the wonderful ladies at the front took care of us and even called our postman to go back to our house and deliver a package that had been forwarded. Thank you, staff at College Park USPS!”

“I can’t say much about the post office ever being a good experience for anyone, but I recently had my passport appointment here and it was so pleasant. I made my appointment a month in advance on the website because I needed to go in on Saturday because of my work hours. It was super easy to set up. I went early in the morning and was helped by Bob. He was super kind and thorough with the whole process! He didn’t over explain anything or under explain. It was the perfect amount of information to make the whole experience speedy and thorough at the same time. I’ve just never went to a US post office and actually been treated like I was a human being let alone someone doing something they’ve never done before and Bob was a pleasant surprise to change that standard for me.”

“Jose the postal worker at this location is the BEST! Me and my husband are moving half way across the country and we had so much trouble figuring out how to ship our mattress without it costing a fortune. We are so glad we came when Jose was working that day. His positive attitude and willingness to help us, really helped reduce our stress with our situation. We went through so much hassle figuring out how to ship this mattress and at the end it we were successful and happy THANK YOU JOSE!!! (if ur reading this lol) Give this man a raise!!!!”
“Staff is always friendly, the place is always busy and even the reliever personal is kind. Haven’t had any issues from this location in three years + and our family has a small online shop and we ship out from this location exclusively and have never had a problem. I highly recommend this location and enjoy going there for weekly shipment drops. They even offer a service to pick up the items but it’s so conveniently located we just stop in during other errands.”
“I'll never understand why people are so bent on Bureaucracy. If I have to get something done and I'm here now, why offer me a "get an appointment" to come back later on a day I have to work? Fortunately, I was able to get my passport documents done while there. I only had to point out the fact that there were 5 clerks available, AND I was the only one there. After I gave them the appropriate amount of push towards doing the, right thing, everything went smoothly.”
“Due to the sheer incompetence of the backup delivery driver on Apr 29, 2024 a package that I was due to receive (and had been scanned as delivered) had actually been determined to be NSA or Non-Sufficient Address and marked as RTS (return to sender). I was furious since I knew that USPS customer service was highly lacking due to several previous issues that went unresolved. I ended up making an in-person visit to the Hiawassee Branch to see if they could locate my "NSA" package from.the previous evening. Tracy took my tracking number and then went into the back to find it, the whole while I was crossing my fingers. When she came back out with the envelope, I was instantly relieved and highly appreciative! Thank you SOOOOOOO much Tracy! I really appreciate you going above and beyond to fix this situation.
Oh and 1 star and SHAME to the delivery driver who put down my package as NSA. The address WAS correct and even matched the address of another mailpiece that I received that evening,. You probably couldn't be bothered to do your job and are the reason why I have had such a poor experience with USPS in the past. DO BETTER.”
“I called the 800 customer service number this morning, 10/16, because I couldn't reach this branch. My problem was that it's very hard to unlock the lockbox for packages that won't fit in the mailbox. Coincidentally, I received a package this afternoon and my carrier brought it to my door. Also, this afternoon, I received a phone call from Marissa at this branch. She was calling to resolve my lock problem. That's really fast customer service from Marissa and the carrier.”

“Awesome post office! I run a small business and ship a few hundred packages a week and they are also fast and polite and get me in and out with great CS. I live 2 minutes from the apopka post office but they are so horrible I gladly take the travel time to the Longwood branch. Highly reccomend!”
