I have brought my vehicle to them three times, now, and each time, my confidence grows in their work!They are obviously extremely busy, I guess I'm not the only one who's found this treasure, but they finished my car in one day on this last visit!Rick, the new owner, is not new to the shop. He was the one who took my call the first time I took my my car to them, and he's been there for 20 years! He knows the business, and the customers. There are surely plenty, like me, who continue to bring their cars back to them every time.”

“Reese Chevron Auto Service is a staple in the downtown Sarasota, Florida area and probably the only full service gas station in at least southwest Florida, if not the whole state. This gas station has served generations of people, but sadly, it looks like it will be closing its doors. Another long-established business and I would dare to even call it an iconic institution that has faced its sunset. I shall miss this place. Full service gas in Florida is such a rarity and now one of the few (if not the only) is bowing out of the game. I do wish the owners a lovely retirement.”

“Newly updated store. Staff seemed very friendly. They sell a lot of different items. They also sell gasoline to boats that can pull up to their dock. Probably a good place to stop at if your on the water and need supplies. They also have some shirts and clothing needed for being in the sun all day on the water.”
“All of the employees have always been pleasant and sincere, the other day I paid for my fountain drink with a $10 bill and walked out w/o getting my change, the cashier came running out to catch me and give me my change!!! And it's not the 1st time either! Occasionally I've been a couple cents short and they've allowed me to return later (I am a regular...) but the service is always courteous and it's a blessing to live in a community with ppl like these who set the example for others around them! Thank You!!!”

“This is my local gas station by my house and I just love them down there... one day a drunk man was trying to touch me and the man behind the register put him in his place then served me quickly and got me out of there, having the drunk man go after me so I could safely get to my car.... plus they just added a smoke shop.”

“This guy is an absolute God send. I know nothing about cars. Not only did he save me money. I brought in a list from another mechanic and he relooked at her and saw what she actually needed ( $1500 less then their quote) and even took labor off his own quote, stating he thought he would need more time. He is honest and made me feel comfortable like talking to a friend. He is reliable, relatiable and did a magnificent job. My car was on the brink of falling a part and Jeff managed to put her back together. I will be returning to him with all my mechanic needs. If you need a great machanic and a really sweetheart of a guy Jeff us your man! Thank you Jeff for all you do.”

“This gas station is amazing!! I stopped to get gas and I ran inside to pay for gas (discount when paying in cash) I brought my family in with me and it was such a wonderful experience! It is nice and clean (even the bathrooms) and the staff is great, very friendly and always smiling. I was taken back by the amazing fresh deli food they serve and the great variety of snacks. Extremely pleased, this is now my go to gas station!!”
“My daughter and I stabbed her one night couldn't find a store open in our area. And when in? To pay for what I needed and unfortunately? For some reason my credit card was at working.Do the wonderful man who paid for my order the first time in my life that? Has. Ever happened. “This is the first Sam's Club station ⛽⛽ w double pumps for twice the capacity and in turn makes for a quicker smoother experience. Leapfrogging around vehicles getting to the afore pump is no big deal. I was literally in and out in minutes which made for a pretty pleasant experience wish all of their locations were designed as such.”

“Cleanest, nicest gas station bathrooms in the entire state of Florida. Ran in close to closing for gas and a Coke to make the long drive to Tampa and decided to use the facilities, and found the place to be clean, stocked, and well lit. Counter guys were friendly and helpful.”
