“I have been coming here for years. The parking lot is a bit of a challenge because drivers don't understand stop signs. But if you make it inside safely the store is nice, convenient, and it says a lot when the same employees are still working there for years.”

“I love this location, they are friendly and clean, best of all, they are well stocked, and I never wait more than a minute in line. Be careful on those late afternoon rain storms, that parking lot gets deep quick!”

“This is my favorite location, the staff is wonderful and the store is always so clean and never too busy! Love the self checkout since I'm very introverted and don't like interacting with people much. This location also seems to have a better selection for the things I'm usually buying, I do notice the prices here are a bit higher than the delray locations but makes sense since it's boca :)”

“This Publix is always great. It's well stocked and very organized. The associates that work there are all very helpful and friendly which makes for a very pleasurable shopping experience.”

“Great prices...... But, Maybe the cahiers could slow down a bit when ringing you up. A good few of them don't really take care of your items when placing them back in the shopping cart. They just toss them in there. I've had chip bags pop and bread smashed. Other than that, maybe hire a few more cashier's, Aldi's is starting to turn into Walmart by always having just one cashier and loads of customers. It has great prices on items though.”

“This is a pretty good supermarket. Food is of quality and they have a lot of specialty items I enjoy such as Siete Chips. However, items are more expensive here and whenever I try and get a Pub Sub the line is extremely long. I like this store but due to long lines and some of the items being priced high I give it four stars.”

“I've been going there for the longest time and I always have something positive to say about them. Plus they do have so many different things that you can't find everywhere”

“Pão de queijo was really good. Bought a pack with 2 picanhas that were also really good, the only complaint is that they have advertising on Instagram that says $4.99 per pound and on site it was $5.49 per pound, still a good price but there shouldn't be any price difference.”

“Wonderful, fresh chickens, and they taste like chicken no matter how you prepare it. I made chicken noodle soup with their chicken and it tasted just like my mother’s. Yes, where you buy your chickens makes a difference”

“Several months ago this store which I didn't know of its existence had a sale on eggplant, and I went there and bought enough to make 3 trays over the month. Not on sale because it was bad, because they were great! I started noticing more staple, special foods I loved in - produce, chicken, beef, seafood, etc at much better the price of anyone else locally, and equal if not better quality than anyone. Today I had a chance to compliment the store management, Michael. He was sweeping the floor of the store - the place is spotless, clean, healthy and the staff attitude is energetic and exemplary to customer service excellence. His and his Team's presentation is beautiful. It's a must shop for my family's household now. It's a chefs delight too. While the store caters, leans toward Latin and Caribbean, it's a great place to shop and learn more of the great culture of foods - and I have and will continue. Awesome experience, thank you Michael & Pompano Ideal Team! <3”

“A l d i was unusual I have never been in the store they were lots of pallets with things on it in bulk I didn't know that you needed a quarter for the wagons but they will give it to you in the store I asked someone you know for some information and they were very helpful and there's a lot of good deals and some not so good deals but overall I would say the place is better than shopping at Publix for sure no doubt about it anyway I will go back I would recommend everybody try it it's different unusual but during these times of severe inflation and high interest rates it's a great place to go! I recommend it and I will be going back Elliot”

“As a long-time Florida resident, the name Publix has been a comforting constant in my grocery shopping routine for over two decades. While I've noticed a shift in the quality and shopping experience at some Publix stores over the years, my recent visit to the Pompano Shopping Center location was a delightful and nostalgic reminder of the Publix I've always known and loved.

The Pompano Shopping Center location, which was rebuilt a little over a decade ago, is a shining example of the Publix brand. It showcases notable improvements over the older prototypes, with a recent refresh that stands out. The store's impressively clean and well-organized layout sets it apart.

The deli section is a highlight, featuring a fresh and well-stocked salad bar with various toppings and dressings. The hot bar also offers a range of delicious options, from comfort foods to healthier choices, making grabbing a quick and satisfying meal easy. The team's commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service is evident here. Also, the covered parking instantly adds to the store's appeal.

The Publix at Pompano Shopping Center location is a shining example of what makes Publix a beloved staple in Florida. I highly recommend this Publix. It might restore your faith in the Publix experience and become your go-to location.”

“Really very good for a food market they have a lot of choice but on the other hand the prices are not given it is not a low price market in general no problem for parking”

“Stopped in here to grab some Orange Juice for my baby girl. She was so good at the outing today and requested it so I had to stop in here and grab some. It was an in and out trip but like every Publix I've been in, this one was clean and organized.”

“Great, close market for those living in Palm Aire. Most of the time the selections are available. The deli sells wonderful Boar's Head Foods and is wonderful salads available in the case behind the deli.”

“Very good supermarket, great costumer service so far, clean, nice selection. One frustrating thing - Deli sandwich/prepared food service - painfully slow. All of us were aging there. One worker with zero pace. Either they need more hands on board, or change role. In NY ~40 sandwiches would have flown out in that time frame ?‍♀️”

“Its "ok" as far as chain grocery stores go. But lousy prepared food section. Bread is in 4 different sections. Beverages are spaced 2 aisles apart. Like a treasure hunt for food compared to other locations.”

“I love coming to this publix. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the store is clean and always stocked. Lovens is one of the managers there and he is above and beyond!”

“I think you're now quite a few all of these around town. I have to say this is one of the better ones. I don't know why? they carry pretty much the same merchandise. I just find this particular store. Comfortable to shop in it's clean. Easy to get into and out of”

“Price Choice is my go-to supermarket when I need ethnically-focused produce and meats that Publix or Winn-Dixie are unwilling to stock. Produce turnover must be pretty high at Price Choice because it's always fresh when I shop, and their price points are lower too. The butcher section has goat meat, whole oxtails, whole turkey necks, whole pigs feet, whole chickens, etc. Get the picture? They serve in the order of people waiting, and will cut the meat however you want it sliced. The fishmonger also has a larger selection that you'd find at the mainline supermarkets. While the aisles are narrow, and the goods piled sky-high, at least there is a variety and an attempt to serve their target market. For example, one whole row of different rice varieties and brands! While there are other Price Choice markets in South FL, it seems they are all independently owned and operated, with their own weekly sales flyers. Luckily this one is east of 95 and not terribly far from me.”
