Tire Choice on 98N in Lakeland. Not only did they have the tires for my Nissan Xterra i wanted in my price range, they had them in stock! They got me in the next morning, did a full inspection while it was up on lift, i also got an oil change service at a fair price and my fluids all topped of as well. John Carter, the store manager, will take care of you like family and he and his service staff will care for your vehicles as if they were their own. “Awesome Service‼️ A++Came in for a tire patch (That the big tire places in Lakeland didn't want to touch, cause the nail & screw in the tire might or might not be close to the side wall).I asked if the could have it ready at noon, and they said no problem.(I couldn't stop by at noon cause some of my work meetings got moved in that time slot)They courtesy called me at 1:30 PM, just to let me know that the tires was ready at noon but I didn't stop by to pick it up.When I was available to go and pick up the tire, I backed u towards their service bays, so the could put the tire in the trunk.But to my surprise they came out and took the spare off and installed the repaired/patched tire back the car, and they checked the tire pressure on all 4 tires.Such a pleasant experience!Definitely recommend!”

“I took my car in to address an issue with the starter and I will admit I wasn’t the most emotionally stable at the time because I just lost my job the same day that the starter went kaput (yay). However, thanks to my father’s longevity as a customer here offering me his discount the repair for the starter was less than $400. They were great with my car and were understanding during a difficult time in my life. I have massive respect for these people because it isn’t easy to read off these figures to people. Heck, it’s hard enough to tell customers that their Starbucks is $5.84. I appreciate great service when I see it. It’s been a couple months since the servicing and the starter still works without any problems. Definitely a trusted company after all these years and they never make me feel d*** for not understanding car stuff. Also the “trust in McGee to be Gremlin Free” ad campaign is iconic even if it hasn’t aired in years.”

“My car broke down in Lakeland late afternoon on Jan 18, 2024. I was able to push it to this Pep Boys where I spoke to Jared. He was very helpful, but explained they couldn't check it out until the morning of Jan 19. I got a call from Jared about 7:20am on the 19th detailing for me what was wrong and giving me an estimate. As it turns out, the needed repairs involved an alternator which had been installed in Tampa and was under warranty. I worked it out to have the car towed to Tampa. Pep Boys did not charge me for the diagnostics, which I expected to have to pay. Jared was extremely helpful and beyond professional. I especially appreciated how he got the estimate to me so early in the morning. I also observed how he treated other customers while I was waiting to give him my keys. He was equally as professional and helpful with them, even at the end of the work day. I give Jared and this Pep Boys location my highest recommendation.”
