“I'd say this is a natural food market with lots of herbs, coffees, grains, snacks etc sold as loose foods you scoop yourself. Prices are decent. The selection of fresh and unusual, exotic meats and vegetables is amazing! I never have issues finding a variety of raw meats for my dog.”

“Had a great experience here yesterday 9/1/23. I was looking for a port to prepare duck with and wanted something drinkable on top of good to cook with. Walking in I was able to describe what I was looking for to the person at the front desk and he was walked with me to the appropriate section of the store. We talked about different options and eventually settled on something higher end for my fiancé and I to share on his birthday, despite needing 4oz for a cherry, shallot, and duck fat reduction. I brought home the Taylor Fladgate 10 year old Tawny Porto and it was perfect. With the cherries in the sauce for the duck it cooked beautifully adding a nice aroma and rich color. I cannot emphasize how rarely my fiancé and I drink red wine. Maybe 3 times in 4 years of dating while we have had white wine countless times. We both kept sniffing the bottle while our meals cooked, waiting to taste it with the meal. Perfect pairing, especially with the strong fresh cracked pepper in our salad and honey goat cheese and fig spread.Thank you so much you to the cashier who took the time to talk the options over with me and listened carefully.”

Green Apple Liquor Store located at 1602 B NE Waldo Rd the service there is Exquisite! Friendly! and Lots of Fun! The store has a substantial variety of things to choose from and sometimes, purposely, we don't purchase some things just to return the same day bcuz of the service, go see for yourselves the store and especially the service is awesome! “I was getting over total knee replacement and was still using a cane to walk around when I stopped in at this location to get some liquor for the upcoming Memorial day holiday . I wound up with 4 bottles in which at the time was more than I could carry , that's when the cashier Max went out of his way to carry ALL4 bottles to my car for me . I didn't have to ask for help , as a matter of I picked up 2 of the bottles and told him I would be back to carry the other 2 out , without hesitation Max picked up all of them . Thank you Max , at the time I was very grateful for his assistance . It's so wonderful to see there is still some people in the service industry , that put the customer first . Max I told you that I'm going to show you my appreciation some day and take you for a cold beer and I mean it lol . This is the kind of person I can call a friend , and you know what ? It seems as if this is the type of folks that ABC seems to employ . Always be celebrating Max , thanks to you ... I will .”

“As an AVID pop a top goer-if you have yet to step foot in pop a top you are missing out. The chicken salad sandwich is from my dreams. I could eat it everyday for lunch and dinner the rest of my lifetime. I am quite sad to be leaving Gainesville in the near future and have to say a big part of that is because of pop a top chicken salad sandwich. Nothing will ever be the same what will I ever do. My only complaint is that they are closed from5-nighttime on Monday-Wednesday which limits my time option to get a chicken salad sandwich. I sware l see the staff at pop a top more than my roommates they are the best. Long live pop.”

“Only place in town that stays open until 11 pm for " beverages". You can get it at the clubs/ restraunts; however, having the flexibility when you rather grill out and stay home makes it nice if we need a last minute beer/liquor/wine run.”
“Convenient! Don't forget when you shop at the SE Winnie, there are incredible deals on beer, wine, and spirits at the liquor store on the far side of the building. As well as combination discounts with some liquors and MIXERS! The prices here often challenge greatly what I find at Total Wine, and Publix liquor stores.Thanks my staff at Liquor Winnie SE. “My family was visiting from florida and needed to go to this store a couple of times during our trip. I like the store, although navigating it is a bit confusing sometimes. The prices are reasonable and the selection was great. I found everything I needed. What stood out the most, though, is the friendliness of the employees. Every single person I encountered was engaging and kind. I was asked a couple of times how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything. Such a great experience. I always love visiting Publix grocery stores when visiting.”

“this is a pretty nice Publix. I've been to a bunch of them in Florida Georgia, etc. and I would say this is one of the bigger ones. They have a really good childcare department caring a lot of the formulas which is really nice. The pro department is nice and when I went there at the bakery department was extremely helpful. it's very large and spacious as well and extremely clean from when I went. Weirdly enough the parking lot has large parking spots, which is nice. The prices are normal for any Publix. Everyone here was very nice and helpful and they seem to have everything you need. one of my favorite Publix of all”
“This is a good convenient stop for refreshments. The food truck and the lady who cooks the comfort food is the best feature on Fridays, usually Saturday and sometimes Sunday that rivals Mama Low's Restaurant that used to be downtown serving the best soul food around!”

“I had an outstanding experience at The Good Pour in Gainesville, Florida. The general manager, Alex, was incredibly nice and spent a lot of time talking to my husband and me about different bourbons. He even helped me find my new favorite wine. Alex also recommended a fantastic restaurant called Embers just down the street.
