“Tried the curbside delivery method and it was okay. Wish I could have given instructions on selecting produce, they didn't select the way I would have. Also one incorrect product but they gave me a credit for that so no harm, no foul. They were unable to fill requested strawberries, but no charge so okay, maybe ran out (?). made two substitutions that I probably would have done if my primary product was unavailable. So overall pretty happy.”

“Had a great experience here yesterday 9/1/23. I was looking for a port to prepare duck with and wanted something drinkable on top of good to cook with. Walking in I was able to describe what I was looking for to the person at the front desk and he was walked with me to the appropriate section of the store. We talked about different options and eventually settled on something higher end for my fiancé and I to share on his birthday, despite needing 4oz for a cherry, shallot, and duck fat reduction. I brought home the Taylor Fladgate 10 year old Tawny Porto and it was perfect. With the cherries in the sauce for the duck it cooked beautifully adding a nice aroma and rich color. I cannot emphasize how rarely my fiancé and I drink red wine. Maybe 3 times in 4 years of dating while we have had white wine countless times. We both kept sniffing the bottle while our meals cooked, waiting to taste it with the meal. Perfect pairing, especially with the strong fresh cracked pepper in our salad and honey goat cheese and fig spread.Thank you so much you to the cashier who took the time to talk the options over with me and listened carefully.”

“Always stocked up and ready to serve, this is one of the nicer liquor stores in Gainesville. Conviently located by WAL-MART near DMV (ironically). This store boast some of the finer spirit selection. They also have a costom cigar room for all you tobacco enthusiasts.”

“I have known Mike for many years and he is my go to liquor store because of location, price and especially the wide selection he has of top end whiskeys. He is very friendly and has taken the time to get to know me personally, as I him, over the years. When special bottles come in that are hard to find, the kind that are allocated at the big box stores, he always texts me and holds it for me until I can come in. I prefer to support local businesses and a trip to Mike's place is one definitely worth taking. Jeff H.”

“Only place in town that stays open until 11 pm for " beverages". You can get it at the clubs/ restraunts; however, having the flexibility when you rather grill out and stay home makes it nice if we need a last minute beer/liquor/wine run.”

“This is a great store. They have a little bit of everything, and it is all pretty well organized, with signs showing where what kind of alcohol is. Wine can be a bit difficult to navigate despite the signs, but they have a lot of wine. The staff is always friendly and more than happy to help you locate what you're looking for. If you're a cigar smoker, they have a very decent selection in and out of the humidor room. Of all varying sizes, shapes, and flavors. I go here mostly for the cigars, and it is always well stocked. All in all, if you need alcohol or cigars. It is worth going. They rarely run out of anything, and it's a clean, friendly store. I would highly recommend this store.”

“This Winn-Dixie store in high Springs gives good old-fashioned customer service. They are great. I was getting ready for my eight year old godson's birthday. They gave the college try in getting the helium balloons filled. They are always helpful when I need it.Their prices are pretty low also compared to Publix.”

“Don't let the unassuming frontage of Millhopper liquors fool you... the store has a surprisingly nice selection of liquors, and also a decent amount of wine and beer. There are around 5 or 6 cooler doors for beer, and also a walk in cooler for larger packages.A couple of the cooler doors are dedicated to craft beer, and the selection was varied enough that my husband and I both could find something we wanted. The prices were on par with most other liquor stores in the area, and the person working was friendly and helpful.”
