The plumbers source their supplies here. They had an extra large water heater pan in stock for immediate pick up, and they sell to the public! Service was instant on the phone and pick up was easy.

Ferguson is my go-to place for plumbing and irrigation parts, especially oddball solutions. Their experts can connect you with parts and advice to get any job done. They sell decent tools too, and their prices are comparable or better than the big-box or hardware store. I wish they were open beyond regular business hours.

Decent service from knowledgeable people, but their product range is very limited when compared to HD and Lowe's. So I rarely go there, and when the big box stores don't have what I need it's mail order tine...
