About Abandoned Pet Rescue Inc
Founded in 1996, Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of South Florida's largest no-kill animal shelters, providing shelter, medical care and compassion to homeless dogs and cats. APR houses up to 200 cats and 35 dogs while finding homes for about 350 pets per year. Before being adopted, pets are examined by shelter veterinarian and are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for common illnesses and microchipped. To adopt a pet, visit our website to read pet bios and complete an adoption application. A team member will contact you for an appointment to visit our adoption center.
