Extremely long wait times to speak to a representative only to get inconsistent information every time you call. I've used them for prescription services and delivery since last year, today I call and the delivery fee is more than usual, when I ask about it I'm told an error was made the last time. The supervisor I spoke to didn't even realize I had been using them since 2022. They just lost thousands because a supervisor doesn't have the ability to make a good customer service decision. Switched my prescription to walgreens.

I was waiting over a week for a eyedrop prescription that my doctor from correct vision sent here. And since you guys don’t take my insurance than you people didnt even bother to call and let me know that you were not gonna fill in my order. I was waiting on your call for over a week. And a simple call saying that you don’t take my insurance would’ve been appreciated. But instead you guys just didnt bother.. That is very unprofessional & lack of communication. I understand this is a business and you guys only care about the money but try being more professional with people even if you don’t take their insurance. No i do not recommend this place.

If I could give this place, zero stars I would. It has been nothing but headaches for the last three months since I switched this pharmacy. Luckily after this month I will no longer be using them. Their customer service is horrible. They never have anything in stock. They give wrong information of what they do have in stock. Their delivery is a 12 hour window and you must be home to receive, you don’t even get an estimated time.Stay away from this place!

Cannot get anyone to connect back with me after leaving a message. The hold time to talk to an agent is over 50 minutes. I've spent almost an hour on hold trying to get my prescription ordered. It is a time-dependent prescription and I've spent over two days trying to get this ordered. I tried to order online but it says to call. I'm extremely upset about this. Horrible customer service. Please hire some good people to take orders!

We had to pay in full because we had to overnight a fertility prescription. A nice lady told us to reach out in 3-4 days after the insurance pre-auth to get reimbursed from the pharmacy (I SWEAR that's what she said) because beyond the 3-4 days I would have to file a paper claim myself. Called the first time they said nothing had come through and to call back in a couple more days. Called back today and I'm 30 seconds into my explanation when the the lady hangs up on me. This wouldn't as big of a deal if wait times weren't CRAZY long. Finally got a call back from a nice gentleman and he said they don't EVER do reimbursements like that and whoever I spoke to first was wrong. What a ride haha

These people are beyond incompetent. In two separate incidents they sent us the incorrect amount of medication and forced us into paying more than $800 to overnight the medication to Ohio. Unprofessional, irresponsible and uncaring are the terms I associate with SMP Pharmacy.

Very difficult to call, always 45min to wait and you never know when they will call you back if you don’t want to wait. Then it’s quite easy when you want to buy, but the cuatomer service is very bad, I had an issue with Cetrotide, it was damaged and they never wanted to replace it (when we spent $10k with them on medication, ridiculous), and I had 3 Gonal left from the last order and as a gesture, I was hoping they will accept a return, but no, and again, after having spent $10k with them. 0 gesture and comprehension when this process is so painful for the couple. Very disappointing. The only good thing is the staff there, very kind, but for the rest, it’s all about $$.

Beware of the cards that are sent with package that say meds are kept at temp. The cards do NOT change color when the package reaches above acceptable temps and you will have no way of knowing whether your meds are still viable.Also they do not deliver to some places on weekends and “next day packages” will sometimes arrive days late with no warning.

Its weird I had a 3 star review but I think they contented it to try to get rid of negative reviews. If you call its 20 minutes wait if you are lucky. We got a prescription there they gave us the wrong dosage. It was double what was needed. We almost did the wrong amount. Always double check these people. There is a lady and a guy who works there who are awesome. I hope they take over and manage that place.

The staff at this pharmacy are so professional and especially Jaheira (sp?). The last time I was there, I had been all over Miami to find a medication I needed that same night. After running around in rush hour, dealing with incompetent staff at other pharmacies, I tore through the door at SMP 15 minutes before closing. It was like entering another dimension. They were calm and accommodating and kind. They reassured me right away that everything would be ok and that I would get the meds I needed on time. They quickly addressed some insurance issues that other pharmacies didn't understand. Honestly I was so stressed before and they calmed me so quickly I think I actually cried tears of relief. This was a completely different level of service, and I am so grateful! Thank you

Poor customer service you are place on hold for 15minutes and no one comes back on to take your order or answer any questions this has happen twice in 2weeks.

The worst wait times. Customer service is lacking.. over 20 mins on hold trying to get a prescription filled and paid for… “white glove” Customer service isn’t the case… horrible….

Wait times to call SMP are ridiculous. The shortest wait time I’ve had is 10 minutes and I’ve waited on hold over 20 minutes. They claim ‘white glove’ service, perhaps they should adequately staff their phone lines as the customer service is below average and certainly not white glove quality.

God bless SMP pharmacy! CVS Specialty put a hold on deliveries to most of Florida for two weeks because a hurricane hit Ft Myers with no impact to Tampa. Because of this, I was at risk of yet another delay in the IVF process. Then SMP came through like a miracle overnighting all of my fertility medications seamlessly.
