Then, my hero JT came in and saved the day. He took the tire off, popped the seal on the tire, replaced the valve stem, and put the tire back on my tire. He was quick, professional, and did an excellent job.”

“HAND DOWN THE BEST!!! My daughter called me so scared on her way to school at 3pm. Her car was making a loud noise and started shacking. She is 20 and they’re in Florida in College by herself. The closest mechanic shop was Shay’s. I called them thinking with it being last min and so late in the day they probably couldn’t look at her car. I was wrong I explained to them what was going on and he told me not to worry, have her come on if it was safe to do so and he would have one of his mechanics look at it for me. They were in the middle of working but took the time for her. I cant say how thankful I am. My daughter was scared and she said they was so nice and made her feel safe. They are amazing!!!! I will be having them do all my daughter’s work when needed on her car.”

“My father passed away in New Orleans recently, we had to drive his car back to Florida just after his passing when his transmission went out in DeFuniak at 8:30pm. Ray not only picked up the phone at 8:30pm but came and met us at the truck stop and guided us back to his shop. “I was changing my own oil this past Sunday and couldn't get the oil filter loose. In fact, I had started to crush it a bit using everything but a screwdriver. I filled the engine with oil and took it by the Walmart Auto Care Center, in Defuniak Springs. Jordan immediately greeted my wife and I and offered to see if he could get the filter loose, as I had the replacement with me. He wasn’t able to do it in the parking lot, so he checked us in for a chassis lube. Chris took it from there, got the oil filter off and put the new one on, as well as took the oil I had previously purchased at Wal*Mart and added what was needed. The cost was $0.00. I was greeted with the willingness to help me out of a jam, and it continued through the entire visit. I am truly grateful I met Jordan and Chris…Thank you, Thank you!”

“My 2016 Dodge Ram would not start and was stalled out at the Lowe's down the road in Defuniak Springs. I was somehow able to get it started, but was then afraid to turn off the motor, for fear it would not start. I came by to see Tom and his sons at USA Motors. They saw I was from out of town and needed help, and dropped everything and did their diagnostics, and determined it was the battery. Within 30 minutes or so, they had me up and running. They were a true godsend, and took great care of me.They were friendly, straight up, and honest. If anyone needs a good mechanic in Walton Cty, USA Motors in Defuniak Springs is where you need to go.
