I will continue shopping here. last part of review was from years ago.. rundown of my exerience: called Paul with model numbers of what I wanted. Told him specs of my cabinet to make sure range hood would fit. he said yes it will fit. Installerers arrived and the hood doesnt fit- they can modify for additional charge. I was pissed to say the least. well come to find out they dont even make hoods to fit my old style cabinet anymore- Paul and I both looked and looked.( By the way, he was out of town when this took place and the manager personally worked with me.) anyway i payed the upcharge and it looks beautiful. i will buy from paul again (i cant be mad at him for not sending me something that no longer exists!) let me tell you the installers are amazing. Marco with PSI did an outstanding job. So over all this was a positive experience- good company, beautiful appliances- great price and installers, great service. I own another house with the same old style cabinets so look out Paul, your 'worst nightmare' (self proclaimed) will be back! Thanx, Nancy Gianguzzo”

“I have never written a post about a hardware store before. I felt like I needed to reach out and share my experience with not only good customer service but actually knowledgeable. I stopped in to get paint and primer for an old damage piece of furniture. Nothing fancy I'm not a restorer so I didn't want to put out a big expense on an old piece where the next home would be the dump. Mark in the painting department not only steered me to the right product I need it but much more economical than what I picked out that I thought I needed. The piece of furniture was that shiny fake engineered wood that got water damage. The primer provided an excellent surface tension and coverage. It allowed the paint that Mark also assisted with right here without a gummy or a slick feeling. I couldn't be more pleased and I couldn't have done this without Mark in the painting department. I'm from Maryland and this isn't even my regular store I just stopped in on the way out of Costco when I Googled Home Depot, not realizing it was only a mile away before I drove back to St Pete. Everything about the Home Depot experience even in the pouring rain exceeded my expectations. And I just want to make a point of shouting out to the person responsible which is Mark. Thank you”

“I came for sand and flex tape...but unfortunately when Wade checked the inventory they were sold out of the black color. So I decided to skip the tape and just go find the sand. A few minutes later here comes Wade from all the way across the store with a roll of black flex tape that a customer had just happened to return to customer service. What a freaking coincidence and what a great employee. And the lady in customer service was amazing as well. This was a great experience all together and would definitely recommend this home depot location.”

Most of the units have been completely restored by Bills Discount personally, and look brand new at a used discounted price !A family owned business that’s been around for nearly 70 years now !Bill no longer works there and has retired but his family members still own the store and are delightful to do business with. I have been shopping there for my appliances for 30 years now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

“I love Dan’s Fan City. We needed quite a few ceiling fans for our new home and found out about Dan’s online. I liked the reviews, so my husband and I decided to pay them a visit.Upon entering the store, we were welcomed by Misty, who was extremely knowledgeable and, very friendly. FYI, she’s usually on duty on weekends, including Friday. She was so kind and helpful, that we instantly became customers. She explained the pros and cons of each fan that we liked. And she recommended fans based on which room they would go into. She really saved me a lot of work because her knowledge helped immensely in deciding which fan to put in each room.The fans we selected had a LIFETIME WARRANTY on them, which was fantastic. I don’t know if that’s the case for every fan in the store, but we recently had the opportunity to test this out. It’s been over a year since we purchased our fans, and one of the models, of which we purchased two, was having issues. Both fans were doing the same thing so we called Dan’s Fans and Joe (I think that was his name), who was just as kind and helpful as Misty, told us to bring them back to the store so that they could test them. We had purchased 5 ceiling fans, and my husband had installed all the fans himself, so taking them down and bringing them back to the store wasn’t a problem.Joe called us after they were finished with their testing. From his description of what he found out about the fans, I truly believe he did a very thorough job with his testing. He explained that those fans had a fault in them and they’d be happy to change them out for different models.We returned to the store, and, once again, our dear friend Misty was there to help select the replacement fans. She was just as thorough as before and we came away with two new ceiling fans that have been working perfectly since my husband installed them. Dan’s Fans has customers for life in me and my husband. And we both recommend them very highly.”

“TOPs is the best sewing and embroidery store for instruction. Scott and Melba are so helpful and so knowledgeable about anything I need or suspect I need. I have bought two sewing machines from TOPs. With each one I received exceptional training to where I had full confidence when I got back home to do my projects. Scott knows so much about these new machines with Wi-Fi and USB ports. He made me feel extremely comfortable. I am making all types of embroidery pillows, placemats, wall hangings, T-shirt quilts, etc. I know I couldn't have done this without Scott's help. It's wonderful to have such a local resource to go to. Thank you so very muchWhat a fantastic sewing machine store. Joe was so helpful and knew exactly what I needed and could steer me in the right direction. I’ve been buying from this store for the past two years and can say that Joe exceeds all of my expectations in a sales professional. It is comforting to know that when you purchase a product from tops, they are behind you 110%. I have also received training on my new machines and and it gave me the necessary confidence to embroider and sew. You will never be disappointed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff at TOPs in Lakewood Ranch. My many thanks go to Joe and the staff.”

“Team member Tavia (I hope i spelled that right) was an amazing employee. She took the time to explain the differences between each laptop that I was looking for. I told her I did not need anything fancy, just something to do school work, play DND and Palworld. She was extremely knowledgeable about the specs of each laptop and helped find the best one in my price range. I did end up buying a Levono and it has been great :).”

“Pretty easy rental..tools were clean..in great shape..and worked well..exceeded my expectations..the cement saw..battery powered hitachi..was a beast..had to charge batteries twice..but was a decent length cut..it chewed thru the cement like a hot knife thru butter..the hilti jackhammer/breaker..did a great job too..would rent again..only reason didn't give 5 stars was took a long time to get checked out..”

Much more helpful employees , they do a MUCH better job of keeping people safe, good control of lines and social distance real good mask compliance. Let's face it all these big box stores have the same stuff at nearly the same price, so the difference is the service employee provide. This store does very, very well at having enough helpful employees. And in Fla with our high COVID rate they seem to take our safety seriously”
