“I needed 1/2" marine grade plywood and visited a number of places and Manatee Lumber was the only suppier. They also had 3/4". They are also a hardware store and are very well stocked. The sales staff are very knowledgeable and have been very helpful. Also if you call and ask about a product they will look, give a price and its therecwhen you arrive. It's a real hardware and lumber supplier!!!!”
“Harbor Freight has really upped their game in the last couple of years and there are real bargains to be had on quality stuff like tool cabs/chests and carts, hand tools and power tools+++.The people in the Bradenton store are all extremely helpful and happy to be so. A shout out to Heather, Patty and several others whose names I don't have handy but who went out of their way to help me locate things and take advantage of coupons and Member Only deals. This store is a pleasure to deal with, something you can't say anymore about so many retailers and customer service oriented businesses.”

I walked in the store I asked him if they sold O rings and the man directed me right to The place where they were hanging I found a peghook containing several I found the one I needed in that pack. I went home Put it in the wong where the leak was, no more leak.”

“I love Dan’s Fan City. We needed quite a few ceiling fans for our new home and found out about Dan’s online. I liked the reviews, so my husband and I decided to pay them a visit.Upon entering the store, we were welcomed by Misty, who was extremely knowledgeable and, very friendly. FYI, she’s usually on duty on weekends, including Friday. She was so kind and helpful, that we instantly became customers. She explained the pros and cons of each fan that we liked. And she recommended fans based on which room they would go into. She really saved me a lot of work because her knowledge helped immensely in deciding which fan to put in each room.The fans we selected had a LIFETIME WARRANTY on them, which was fantastic. I don’t know if that’s the case for every fan in the store, but we recently had the opportunity to test this out. It’s been over a year since we purchased our fans, and one of the models, of which we purchased two, was having issues. Both fans were doing the same thing so we called Dan’s Fans and Joe (I think that was his name), who was just as kind and helpful as Misty, told us to bring them back to the store so that they could test them. We had purchased 5 ceiling fans, and my husband had installed all the fans himself, so taking them down and bringing them back to the store wasn’t a problem.Joe called us after they were finished with their testing. From his description of what he found out about the fans, I truly believe he did a very thorough job with his testing. He explained that those fans had a fault in them and they’d be happy to change them out for different models.We returned to the store, and, once again, our dear friend Misty was there to help select the replacement fans. She was just as thorough as before and we came away with two new ceiling fans that have been working perfectly since my husband installed them. Dan’s Fans has customers for life in me and my husband. And we both recommend them very highly.”
“I have never written a post about a hardware store before. I felt like I needed to reach out and share my experience with not only good customer service but actually knowledgeable. I stopped in to get paint and primer for an old damage piece of furniture. Nothing fancy I'm not a restorer so I didn't want to put out a big expense on an old piece where the next home would be the dump. Mark in the painting department not only steered me to the right product I need it but much more economical than what I picked out that I thought I needed. The piece of furniture was that shiny fake engineered wood that got water damage. The primer provided an excellent surface tension and coverage. It allowed the paint that Mark also assisted with right here without a gummy or a slick feeling. I couldn't be more pleased and I couldn't have done this without Mark in the painting department. I'm from Maryland and this isn't even my regular store I just stopped in on the way out of Costco when I Googled Home Depot, not realizing it was only a mile away before I drove back to St Pete. Everything about the Home Depot experience even in the pouring rain exceeded my expectations. And I just want to make a point of shouting out to the person responsible which is Mark. Thank you”

“I came for sand and flex tape...but unfortunately when Wade checked the inventory they were sold out of the black color. So I decided to skip the tape and just go find the sand. A few minutes later here comes Wade from all the way across the store with a roll of black flex tape that a customer had just happened to return to customer service. What a freaking coincidence and what a great employee. And the lady in customer service was amazing as well. This was a great experience all together and would definitely recommend this home depot location.”

“Pretty easy rental..tools were clean..in great shape..and worked well..exceeded my expectations..the cement saw..battery powered hitachi..was a beast..had to charge batteries twice..but was a decent length cut..it chewed thru the cement like a hot knife thru butter..the hilti jackhammer/breaker..did a great job too..would rent again..only reason didn't give 5 stars was took a long time to get checked out..”
“I switched from Lowe's which is just a few blocks down. Much more helpful employees , they do a MUCH better job of keeping people safe, good control of lines and social distance real good mask compliance. Let's face it all these big box stores have the same stuff at nearly the same price, so the difference is the service employee provide. This store does very, very well at having enough helpful employees. And in Fla with our high COVID rate they seem to take our safety seriously”
