My experience initiating a subscription with Sixt in Boca was 5 star. Krisztian Illyes was professional, knowledgeable and quick to execute the process. If all employees were like him, there would be no competition in the Rental Car market. Everyone would use Sixt. The company is lucky to have him. The location was clean and cars were above par. If you have to rent a car, ask for Krisztian. He is a rock star!

I would give it a zero if I could but I can't. I rented from Sixt when on vacation. I went to pick my first car up and went to apparently the wrong location so we had to hire an uber to get our first car. When I picked it up the agent walked around the car with me. Had no issues when I returned the car. Picked up the 2nd car later in the week and didn't get the insurance plan and when I went to leave, the agent didn't walk around car with me and I should have insisted so there was no paperwork on any issues on the car as far as damage. When I turned the car in, no one said anything and then I got a bill from Sixt, they charged me over $350 for so called damage to the car and a screw in the tire. Said the car had been in an accident and I was the only one that drove the car for the whole week so it was NOT in an accident. I refuted it and they said they denied my request so I was forced to pay the whole amount. I think it was all a set up because I didn't get the insurance plan because the agent didn't do the walk around and said it was okay for me to take the car and just gave me the keys. I should have known better but learned a valuable lesson. I will NEVER rent from this company again, would rather walk. Renter beware!!!Mark DJust got a response by Latasha from Sixt, apparently she didn't read my review since I said I already was forced to pay the entire amount or they said they would seek legal action, of course they did. Anyway, Latasha, I spent wayyyyyyy too much time back and forth with your so called "claims dept" to be told sorry but not sorry you owe us the money and either pay or get further legal action. I know it is a canned comment from the company so don't bother patrinizing me Latasha, it won't work. I am done with Sixt forever period!!!!

They accept reservations and don't have cars in their stock. I came this morning. The 2 people were doing nothing. They did not bother to call us at least. And he said he does not have my phone number. This is a lie l because I am Gold sixt member and the number is always showed and no email also received.The car arrived 20 min later and they asked to extand, the employee accepted.The money spent to book has been withdrawed also.Fake advertising and scam.Very bad customer service.I contacted the USA headquarters and German headquarter to sue them at a small claim court.You will pay for all the scam your re doing.

Sixt The new home of low standards is Sixt in Boca Raton Florida. Rented a Suburban to take a trip with my family. Arrived a day early to confirm that the premium suv would be clean and smoke free as my son had bad allergies. On arrival, the suv was dirty inside but was the only available option. I went home, cleaned the interior surfaces, and we departed an hour later. We weren't 20 miles down the road and found all the tire pressures to be drastically off. On inspection we found an outside tire balding. Over the next 6 days we heard a grinding sound coming out of the rear bed and tires that would not hold air. As a corporate member and renter I find this type of experience hard ti maintain my loyalty to sixt.

I recently rented a BMW X5 from Sixt Rent a Car in Boca Raton, Florida, and I feel compelled to share my dreadful experience to warn potential customers about their complete lack of customer service.First and foremost, the people at the rental location did nothing more than hand over the car keys. They have absolutely no power to assist with any issues and consistently directed me to call their customer service. This is where the nightmare truly began. The customer service was outsourced to out-of-country call centers where English was clearly not the primary language. The agents often put me on hold for extended periods and, when they finally returned, they had no solutions or answers to my problems.I spent a staggering 3.5 hours on the phone, or at least attempting to get through to someone, as calls were constantly dropped. I even had to make two additional trips to the Boca location because I couldn't obtain any assistance via the phone numbers provided. I left a message with my assigned customer representative regarding a mechanical issue but received no return call – a prime example of them passing the buck.I also tried reaching out via email, but the responses I received were non-responsive and unhelpful. As a result of the endless back-and-forth and wasted time, I ended up using 10% of my mileage allowance just driving back and forth to the location.The customer representative at the rental location admitted that they couldn't do anything to help. Even when I brought the car back due to a faulty windshield wiper, they wanted to charge me an exorbitant $12.00 per gallon for gas, despite the car being unsafe to drive in the rain. They offered no credit for the wasted miles I incurred while dealing with Sixt.I initially came to Sixt for a luxury car experience but am now regretting that decision. I'm going back to Hertz, a reliable and customer-service-oriented rental company that genuinely cares about its customers. Despite my repeated requests for a callback, no one from Sixt has bothered to contact me.In conclusion, I strongly advise against renting from Sixt in Boca Raton. Their complete lack of customer service and disregard for their customers' time and concerns is utterly unacceptable. Choose a more reputable and customer-friendly rental company to avoid the frustrations I endured.I don’t need someone to do a google response from owner, its way to late for that unless you want to remedy this situation and I will do a follow up this review noting the matter was addressed.

OOoofa, I think it is this particular location because I have used Sixt before and it was perfectly ok service and the return at the Ft Lauderdale airport is quick, easy, and convenient. But this location on Federal Highway in Boca Raton, FL had one of the most sketchy business practices I have encountered. We booked online, Expedia same day. First, the car: a bmw 4 series was dirty and smelled not only of smoke but some kinda funk. Second, Shady Business: The woman at the desk claimed the car was not in the system and therefore the contract had to be done manually (carbon copy)- Ok. But so then we would not see an email version for 30-60 min, she also only took down our cc# and did not run it as she would do so when she entered it manually in to their system, never giving us a copy of the contract or a receipt. ???When we went to the car it had scratches, dents, cracks in the windshield and the interior looked ok but dusty and smelled bad. I took pics of the exterior and interior and went back inside to inquire about the damage she said it'll all be listed on the contract, which at first I thought was given to my husband. When I realized he was not given a copy, I went in again to ask about the contract but she this time met me at the door, blocking the entrance to the lobby (as she saw I was returning for a second time) and told me I will get it in an email in a half hour. Confused, we left but within 30 mins of driving in not only the stench of the car but coming to the realization that there was something very off about her behavior in particular telling us to leave without a copy of the contract. We went back. (sorry, it is rather long story but please take caution) When we returned 30 min later (still not having received an email with the contract) upon seeing us she immediately said "I still haven't put it in the system, I was waiting for my manager". But we told them we wanted another car due to a heavy smoke smell, not mentioning anything about the written contract. At that time, there was a man at the desk standing next to her. And here is the real sketchy part, the man immediately snatched the contract still on her desk and said "I'll shred this" and disappeared behind a wall. At that point I said, No, I want that contract Voided, Signed by you, and a hard copy that is voided and signed. She said "he already shredded it". I insisted she get it and I must have been a bit too loud because he reappeared from behind the wall with the contract in hand. I looked at him and repeated my request for it to be VOIDED, he literally said "We don't do that here" (lololol, as I write this I still cannot believe it). But the woman at the counter took the contract and Voided it, which I had to tell her again told her to sign it and give me a copy. She was evidently quite perturbed as she huffed and slammed the pen, but did it. She then proceeded to rent us the camaro (for the same price btw) in a more standardized way. She entered it in to the computer, ran our credit card and gave us a receipt and copy of the contract. The camaro did have damage and the interior was not as dirty, but at least it didn't smell like smoke and funk. The return at the airport was quick easy and painless. Why we left without the contract the first time, we were rushed out of there and a bit confused as if we were doing something wrong. I'm not ordinarily this stupid or naive but this was definitely a time where I felt like I was being bamboozled and made us question a lot about the entire process. My husband and I spent a good amount of time kicking ourselves for initially letting them push us out without a copy of the contract as we had zero paperwork to prove anything, but we were both in total agreement that there was something shady going on. Honestly, if we didn't have the support of each other, I am not so sure I would have gone back if I were alone. I will not again use this company location. Either way, be careful here. We had a fantastic experience at the Sixty car rental office of Boca Raton. We were helped by a gentleman named Quiz, who was exceptional in resolving all our issues. I wish all Sixty employees were like him. His experience and professionalism were evident. We had come from the Sixty office at the Miami airport, where we were assisted by a very unpleasant lady, and were given a car with no oil. Quiz quickly and efficiently resolved everything for us. A perfect ten for this gentleman. I have nothing but praise for him. Thank you so much!

These people are a total ripoff My acct is now negative 568 and I’m not understanding why I paid with a debit card kept the vehicle a few extra days and paid over the phone each time I paid the money was taking from my card immediately so I’m not understanding why after I drop the rental off my acct is now negative I’ve been calling and calling the ofc leaving vm after vm no one has yet to return my call…. Never ever will I rent with them again or recommend anyone to these people such great scammers

My suggestion is to never do the prepaid rental. If you have to rent from Sixt. We needed a vehicle right away but it needed to be large enough to transport elderly family members but low enough to the ground to allow them easy entry and exit.. Sixt showed the specific vehicle available in Boca Raton so we did the prepaid option to save money and headed over. They in fact did not have the vehicle that we needed there. We were quickly and repeatedly reminded that somewhere there is a disclaimer that the vehicle may not actually be ready to 24-48 hours. Anyway we left and asked them to cancel the reservation. One week later I find out that they charged me for the whole week rental and now refuse to credit me back the money.Edit: After multiple calls and a very unproductive visit to the Boca Raton location Customer Service did agree to a full refund. In about 2 weeks. My original statement stands: DO NOT do prepaid.

Like all other, you rent by the picture and your needs, they give something smaller that "legally fits". I needed a 7 sit car, rented an Atlas by the picture... received a "likely 7 seat" car... those normal SUV's that have two tinny little seats at the trunk but don't really fit's 7. rather than that, staff and custom experience was awesome! very polite.

I’ll never rent from another company again. I was able to rent a bmw for the same price as a dirty junker I was renting for a couple weeks before at a different main rental company. The process was smooth and the rep at the front desk that took care of me went above and beyond to help. Super happy with the experience
